Attention all Underworld Fans!
(Or at least the ones who are participating members of this guild)

In case you have not been keeping up with the news, or even if you have. The new Underworld movie Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, directed by Patrick Tatopoulos (the creature designer for the first two films), will allow for people to know more about the history of the universe that Danny McBride, Kevin Grevioux, and Len Wiseman.

Here is the plot synopsis from IMDB:

"The prequel story traces the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires known as Death Dealers and their onetime slaves, the Lycans. In the Dark Ages, a young Lycan named Lucian (Sheen) emerges as a powerful leader who rallies the werewolves to rise up against Viktor (Nighy), the cruel vampire king who has enslaved them. Lucian is joined by his secret lover, Sonja (Mitra), in his battle against the Death Dealer army and his struggle for Lycan freedom."

What I have intended this thread to be is for discussion about the listed movie characters, casting decisions, role-playing ideas pertaining to the guild, etc.

Actually, a lot of the cast is making a return, it is just that you should not expect any appearance by the main two characters from the first two films (or even William/Marcus) as this is a prequel told from the Lycan point of view.

If anything, having Patrick as a director makes sense as this story is being told through Lycan eyes. I have heard that it still feels like an Underworld movie that we would recognize from Len Wiseman, but different enough (in a good way) where it should give the fans a proper experience in the Lycan world (more violence).
