Dorm Twenty-Four
PostPosted: Sun Oct 19, 2008 6:46 pm

It had been a strain to recognize her name amongst the abundance of gold-plated doors. Nearer to the end of the hall she finally found her name etched into one of the labels. It wasn't alone. Reizo? Was that a boy or a girl's name? She wasn't sure how comfortable she would be rooming with a male. Especially a straight one. She had seen many a movie where such occurrences had lead to the content that made the movie "PG-13". Well, if the guy tried to lay his hands on her, she'd slap him. Hard. After she reasoned that the figure could be a boy or a girl, her hand finally tugged open the door.

__________

To her shock, the dorm was empty. There was no other person to speak of inhabiting the rooms, in fact, there was no sign that anybody had lived there so far. She would have to change that, of course. Leenalee began to adjust her vision so the details were revealed... but there were no details. Just wall and floor space. Frowning at the lack of decoration and beginning to fiddle with her controller, a glinting piece of gold directly to her left caught the corner of her eye. She turned, noticing the piece of gold was a key, and there were two of them. There was also a piece of paper, with a pen on top of it, and some instructions. Which she read. Ah, so she was supposed to design the space herself? That could be arranged easily. Jotting down the basics, she decided to design only minimally for lack of knowledge about her roommate. It would be awful to coat the room in ribbons and lace if it happened to be a boy. When she was satisfied with her work, Leena began towards the bedroom, making sure her bed was in place and everything was tidy. There was a bed and a wardrobe on both sides, only one of which she'd need. Warping the room so the bed was only visible, she sat, and stared blankly out the window. All she had to do now was await the presence of her partner and pray for a good result.

A dance. ********. He wasn't particularly in the mood for such an event. The flashing lights, the pointless drama, annoying loud people. Ugh. Even the thought of such a thing made him cringe. But unfortunately, he couldn't let people know that. No, he had to pretend that he wanted to partake in such a 'fun' event. Not only that, but he would probably have to swoon some girl in the process. Not that he didn't mind. Oh no, he did like pretty girls, but still... he just wasn't in the mood. The school year hadn't been the most exciting for him thus far, and he had to worry about the classes he was going to have to start giving. How was he supposed to teach? He wasn't really the teacherly type.

Green hues glanced at the door, the engraved name echoing in his mind. Leenalee. Definitely an interesting name, but whether or not she was an interesting individual he really didn't know. There had been far too many student files for him to memorize each and everyone so he really had just given up. If the student became important he would then take the initiative to learn more about them, until then he would remain indifferent. Though, since the girl was his roommate, he would of course have to do a bit of research on her. Research. How boring.

"Hello...?" The dark haired boy greeted as he waltzed through the dorm door. No clear expression was visible on his attractive features as he stood there, for there was no emotion for him to feel at the emotion. At the moment he was just going to play himself, the emotionless b*****d that he was.

[ahsdkjfafd craptastic XD I'm too lazy for a good intro.]

The girl was beginning to grow bored with her current situation. If she left, however, it was guaranteed that the mysterious Reizo character would return, and leave before she could make her way back. Her dilemma weighing heavy in her mind, Leenalee made way towards the room's balcony. It was a fairly short walk, but rewarding as she stepped barefoot onto the small platform. It was a beautiful scene. Her room was positioned just right over an unbelievably aesthetic gated area- probably a new view of the Courtyard. Her hand snaked it's way into her purse, still tight at her side, and felt the smooth case of her remote. Tugging it out, she began to search for anything she wanted to fix- anything. Ten minutes later, a differently-tiled walkway stood solo in her fixings. She heaved an over exaggerated sigh. She had been looking for so much more from an Academy like this one. There had been warnings that the first day was always the least entertaining. Such a saying didn't make sense until now, but what was she going to do for the next five hours of daylight? And where was that darn ro- "Hello?"

Leenalee was startled by the voice that broke the undisputed silence that lurked around the balcony, and she jumped. The controller was quickly forced into her bag, and the bag was zipped. If this man was bad news, she didn't want to even fathom how hard it would be to keep her most prized possession from a thief. A hand moved through her dark hair, moving it back into it's arrangement prior to the wind's interference. She turned regally, snapping into a more careful persona as her hand settled on the handle, opening the door before she could hesitate. Wait, hadn't the voice been that of a man?

Her pastel eyes sprang to life as they settled on the man's figure. This must be Reizo, unless of course he had mistaken this dorm for his own. When he didn't back out, though, she continued to scrutinize. He looked like a human wall just standing in the doorway. His lips were drawn tight, his eyes didn't dance with any sort of emotion, and his body language didn't suggest any strong feeling. After her second-long examination was done, Leenalee opened her mouth timidly. "Hi." Was all she could manage at first, but she swallowed her fear and continued to speak, fingering the fringe of her skirt. "You must be Reizo. I'm Leenalee," She tilted her head to the side, eyes breaking from their lock on the man and drifting towards the floor. "Your roommate, I suppose." Although she had managed a sentence of speak, her mild attitude kept her voice shy.
Hopefully he wouldn't be as cruel as his appearance suggested.
