Hey, I've been seeing a lot of people saying that Angela Petrelli's power is persuasive touch, or mind control. I hate to say it like this, but you're wrong. She has precognitive dreams, or in other words, dreams of the future. She's done it twice, and has even said it in the first episode of the new season. She's talking to future Peter, and she says something along the lines of "Where do you think you inherited your first ability from? I saw you coming." Here are some links: Angela PetrelliPeter Petrelli (Tells his first ability)

And we all know that it's similar to Peter's now, just that he needs to touch the person to rip it out of them.

I still think Angela has persuasive touch. We know she has precognitive dreams though. They just... made you see her touching and persuading way to much for it to just be an coincidence. I would not be surprised if Sylar turns out to not be a Petrelli in the end.

I would not be surprised if Sylar turns out to not be a Petrelli in the end. She's simply using body language to make you feel more comfortable, to seem like a nursing mother. Anyone can do it. It's simple psychology.

so have i got this right... she dreams it, and therefore it happens, unless active steps are taken to stop it?

That sounds about right. In her episode 1 dream, she saw Maury, Adam, Sylar, and Traci/Barbara but now 1/2 of them are dead.
ABout her power, she can also enter peope's dream like with Sylar.

I'm wondering though if her appearing to Sylar wasn't part of some ability he has. I only say that because when he asks her how he is supposed to escape because they are blocking his powers, she says "Then how to you explain me being here?" That kind of makes it sound like it had something to do with Sylar and not her, but i have no idea how

Angela doesn't have precognitive dreaming, it's more or less a form of astral projection. Atleast, that's my opinion. :3
