The sun shines brightly upon the arena. The Western side of the arena has been replaced with a makeshift lake, while the Eastern side is flat with grass. Along the Northern wall is a thin forest of three trees wide, and the Southern side is various rubble.
The time is 4:30 pm, and the sky is a nice clear blue with very little cloud coverage. A gentle breeze blows across the arena from the South East.
This is the site where the possibly anticipated battle shall commence. Manndar, the peculiarly named, hammer wielding, wrecking machine versus Kei, the silent but deadly, fan swinging, tornado factory!!!!
Who knows if these two have any hidden animosity towards each other? Who knows if they even know anything about each other? Who knows why this even started!? All we know is that there will be a battle, no holds barred to the ko!!!!!!!

The raven-haired warrior Kei came onto the field clothed in a simple pair of black trunks and an open black haori with silver trimmings, strapped to his back in its harness was his ever present graphite fan encased in steel. His sharp grey eyes scanned the arena taking in the areas that would benefit his or Manndar's fighting style and carefully formulating a strategy that he could apply.
From fights he had witnessed Kei could concede that Manndar had superior strength between them, but Kei's speed was greater even if only by a small margin, still it could be the difference in the fight. Some people tended to believe that spparing was not the same as fighting but Kei was an avid believer in the saying 'Drills are bloodless battles, and battles are bloody drills', Kei would give Manndar everything he had to give save for a killing blow.
"This is going to be an interesting experience, I wonder how Manndar's taking this?" Kei asked the air as he gazed across the lake waiting for his opponent. Kei was often considered one of the more reserved and callus fighters in Gaioh, though he did have a friendly disposition most of the time. Manndar on the other hand wasn't quite as.... calm as the seventeen year old Jounin.

Manndar was sitting down casually on the floor right next to the entrance that Kei had just came in from.
"Nice day isn't it?" Manndar said as he stood up and stretched.
This fight wasn't going to be easy for Manndar. Kei fought a ranged game, while Manndar was more of an in your face fighter, but he was still going to give Kei a run for his money. Manndar was stronger, his hand to hand more skilled and refined, and speed Manndar believed that he had the advantage there too. Quickness, as in reaction time and wit, was another story. Manndar guessed that the two had similar reaction times, but Kei was probably a sharper thinker. At a ranged battle, Kei was clearly more skilled. Manndar still has problems hitting a bull's eye with a kunai.
"Either way I look at it, I'm probably going to get a thrashing." Manndar thought as he weighed the odds. "I'm just going to have to give him one quicker."

Kei looked up at the sky and looked for any cloud cover, none, he tested the wind, a strong breeze coming from the southwest with mild humidity and underlying heat. "A very nice day Manndar, don't get to many like these." Kei said with a slight nod before he turned to look at his opponent. Manndar was just sitting on the floor languidly watching him, assessing him, probably thinking how he could force a close encounter.
'Since he's just sitting there, let's see just how fast he is' Kei thought to himself as he turned his back on Manndar and with serpentine fluidity and striking speed he pulled one of his kazuka blades from within his haori and snapped his arm like a whip, gaining the optimal amount of force attainable and throwing the hilt less knife at Manndar's torso.

Manndar took his right hand quickly out of his pocket. In it was a kunai armed and ready. With a swift, fluid strike, Manndar hit the projectile up and out of his way before quickly standing up and throwing his kunai at Kei's torso because it was the biggest target.
"I was going to do that." Manndar said with a smile as he went for a follow up projectile...... A squirrel with a tiny cape poised and ready to claw and bite.

Kei in turn side stepped and dodged the kunai with ease and then reached out and snatched the hilt of the kunai, claiming the projectile from the air and twirling it in his hand expertly. "I wouldn't advise throwing your little friend or he might wind up disemboweled, or somebody's lunch." Kei said as a shadow passed over the arena, circling in the sun overhead casting its shadow on the ground and becoming a silhouette was a large hawk.
"Heru wanted to spread her wings, its been a very long time since she was around and she has quite the voracious appetite." Kei said as the hawk dove from above and swooped over the arena, before perching in the stands above them. Another snap of his arm and the kunai was sent back towards Manndar, but it would seem the aim was off as it passed high and to the left of Manndar.

This squirrel changed its course and glided off into the woods, possibly scared of the hawk. "There was no way Kei would be that off target unless he was up to something" Manndar thought this he reacted offensively.
With swiftness and precision, Manndar ran in to throw a palm strike to Kei's chest. Manndar had held back on this one because he didn't want Kei's heart to stop. He just wanted a swift, solid starting hit, so he could follow up with an uppercut.

Manndar was right to think Kei was up to something, indeed Kei had planned his move out with the forethought of Manndar's close combat prowess. When Manndar started to close in Kei lifted his hand into a seal and activated the Substitution Jutsu. This action allowed him to move passed Manndar and switch his position with the kunai he had thrown, so Manndar's palm strike would end up meeting that kunai's tip.
Kei having moved now faced Manndar's back and planned to take advantage of that. Whipping his fan out of it harness and in the same motion deftly opened the weapon to its first star, the narrow span that could generate powerful and compact wind blasts. With a reversed grip the fan's folds extended beneath the pinky finger and then swinging the weapon in a sharp figure eight, Kei produced a barrage of wind blasts that would hit Manndar like hammers instead of slicing him to pieces.

Manndar's strike had connected with the kunai, but luckily the kunai did not do too much damage.
Manndar looked dumbfounded for a second before, and he turned his head to see over his left shoulder in time to see Kei with his fan out and ready.
"Damn." Manndar swore under his breath as he saw the swing commence. Manndar then tried to avoid the wind attack. Heading in the same direction of his strike, Manndar jumped and preformed a front flip. At that time, Manndar pulled a kunai out of his pouch to throw at Kei.
Manndar was in mid flip and upside down in the air when he thought he was safe, but one of Kei's wind hammers came flying true and struck him in the stomach causing him to drop the kunai and fall onto his back.
"The irony." Manndar coughed out with a small laugh as he layed there. His abs were strong and the fact that he had some protection helped as well. He wasn't completely out of air, but he was winded slightly and on his back.
At this time, the squirrel came out of the woods again. This time it had a friend, a squirrel in a tiny blue hoodie.

Kei nodded with some slight satisfaction that his ploy had work but he knew that a fighter like Manndar would quickly overcome the shock of being hit and recover for a counter attack, the only way to prevent that would be to continuously apply pressure. Keep Manndar on the defensive and not give him any respite that he could use to lay a counter offensive.
With that in mind Kei didn't even pause in his swing, now that Manndar was down he could focus his attacks on the downed combatant. On the other hand he knew that Manndar was a clever adversary so he kept his sense open to possible decoys or substitutes that could switch the tables and put Kei on the defensive. Aware of his vulnerabilities in this situation, the wind user subtly moved his position to higher ground; in fact he lifted a bare inch or so off the ground and began an advance on Manndar. His barrage didn't falter and the small compact wind bursts continued to fly towards Manndar's prone form.
Outside his summoners awareness, Heru the hawk took off from its perch when it saw the small rodents emerge from their tree cover; the bird of prey gained altitude quickly and kept its amber eyes focused on the squirrels. He made several shallows dips and a couple spirals to intimidate the small pests; Heru even made an astoundingly fast dive towards them, plummeting several hundred feet rapidly with his talons ready to rake or seize one of the rodents but banked and turned aside several feet above their heads. But it was close enough for the wing beats to have been felt by the caped and hooded squirrels.

The caped squirrel seemed to pay the bird no mind. In fact, it appeared to egg the bird on. The hooded squirrel, however, was visibly terrified but still continued on its path towards Kei.
Manndar, not fully recovered his breadth, rolled on the ground to his right before getting on all fours and running in a zig zag pattern looking at the grass. Where the wind attacks were coming from, the grass would blow, so Manndar knew where not to be, trying to keep Kei in his peripheral vision. Thus, it was a very quick and awkward looking zig-zag pattern. Manndar quickly began to pick up speed and at the peak of his speed, he dived for Kei to tackle him to the ground and hit him in the face.

Heru dove in this time, talons posed to catch with beak ready to tear; but first it would have to drive a wedge between the two rodents and target one at a time. So the first action would be to swoop in low and in between them to force them into seperate directions and then a sharp banking turn to catch one up before Heru carried it off and dropped it into the trees.
Kei had a somewhat more difficult situation, but it was simply solved; all he did was jump upwards using his Ichijin bloodtrait he was able to ascend quickly and evade the tackel. At the same time a final swing that opened the fan to full value and being directly above Manndar sent him up higher but also with the breadth of the attack landing directly on him it would slam the other jounin to the floor with some goodly amount of force.

Manndar's tackle had missed, so he used the momentum and rolled up onto his feet and quickly tried to face Kei in time. As soon as he caught a glimpse of Kei, the wind blast had caught up to Manndar and forced him onto one knee, and he brought up his hands to protect his face from the strong gush.
The squirrels, in the mean time, were having a bit of a problem with the bird. Risu scampered to avoid the bird on its assault. The other, however, ran towards the bird and yelled: "Have at ye!"

[Finally, I have time, are we going to be able to pick up this fight you think?]
Kei used his momentary advantage by rotating in the air, utilizing his center of gravity for the axis of his rotation to gain momentum. Closing his fan so the steel casing was clasped firmly in both hands and the fan was folded. As he returned to the ground he would use gravity and his weight to slam the steel exterior of the fan onto Manndar's head; he wasn't pulling any punches so if he concussed Manndar he wasn't going to feel sorry for this.
Heru was ready to oblige, with a powerful flap of his wings he managed to bank sharply and strike out with his talons, which if it worked would grab the rodent around the middle instead of impaling it as he would have down if he intended to eat it.

((I think we can manage xd to tell you the truth, I've been having serious rp fighters block recently sweatdrop , and I've finally overcome it hopefully. confused ))
Hidden inside the squirrel's bushy tail was very tiny needles each with a small enough of sedative. As the bird grabbed the pre battle summoned squirrel, the squirrel would swing with his tail to try to poke the bird in a fleshy part of his body with the needles.
As Kei swung down ((I'm assuming since you said it was coming down for my head)), Manndar moved his right arm out to the right and preformed a one arm hand stand. Slowing down the scene for a play-by-play analysis would show that Manndar was possibly two to three inches away from being clobbered by the fan. As he hand standed, Manndar's legs made a scissor motion. His left kicked out at the fan clost to Kei's hands, and the right kicked at Kei's wrists coming from the opposite direction. Manndar's first and primary focus get rid of the fan, even if it means breaking Kei's wrists.
