In the spirit of Halloween, I would like to host a story-writing contest. In the Art section, please submit a short story or story-like poem with a macabre theme. The winner shall receive 5000 gold.
(Though I may submit such a story, I will not be entering this contest.)

Post as much as you like. In fact, the more you post, the more stories readers have to pick from smile I am going to be posting one myself, but as before mentioned, mine will not appear on the ballot.

I know the deadline isn't until the end of halloween night, but I thought it was worth mentioned that it is almost upon us and we have no entries sad but that's okay! scream because even if no one posts, there will be more contests in the future. whee

I know what you mean. I've got the same problem! sad Maybe I should have sent a notice to guild members (can we do that?) about the contests we have. Ah well, next time. I meant to get a topic up on the history of Halloween too, but I didn't have any time (and I'm writing this in the 5 minutes I have before class starts xd ). Guess everyone's jsut really busy this time of year.

Unfortunately, I've had a few other projects through the week. So I only got slightly into the story I was writing. At the very very least, I will post it even if the contest ends. Not too mention I might post pictures of tonight's project as well. wink
