In the announcement of gaia's new "premium" evolving item they put this, "Remember, it's always good to pick up first-gen items when you can: they hold more value in the marketplace, and they evolve before all the other generations."
I'm not sure why but this really irks me. Its like they're trying to talk people into buying them just to sell. Its just irks me the wrong way. And aside from that, since when are they "premium" items?

And aside from that, since when are they "premium" items? It seems they think they can pass off the pay-to-use portions of the site as "premium" features, thus keeping the populace quiet about the direction towards pay to play.

That, my friends, is one o' the many things that pisses me off greatly about Gaia's current path.
Sure, you eventually get the benefit of having every pose imaginable when it's all said and done. Or, you can buy subsequent gens in the meantime, if you're really so inclined - I actually did when the Biancamella was out! - but in all honesty, only a handful are truly worth it.
With that said, it truly irks me fierce when the cash shop has a multitude of $7.50 - 10.00 items, and maybe but a handful of anything that's less than an MC.
