Indeed it is. No joke and no lie.

In Adventureland in Disney's Magic Kingdom in Florida there is the commonly popular ride known as Pirates of The Caribbean.

A seemingly harmless ride with swashbucklers swindlers and the like...and then...ghosts?

On this ride is a ghost that commonly goes by the name of George.

According to some of Magic Kingdom's workers George was a man who worked in the building process of the beloved Disney ride.

Though close to the end of production poor George fell off the scaffolding in the burning city scene and died.

Many workers believe that it is he who stops the ride at times just to be mischevious.

And I have a true story to support this theory.

One night my cousin and her friends were going to get onto Pirates of the Caribbean and they had heard about George. They began to mock him and make fun of him. The ride had been going on for a while until it happened to break down in the burning city scene.

Now I know what most of you are thinking. Perhaps some workers overheard them and decided to stop the ride for a few seconds to scare them a bit.

However the ride was stopped for more than forty five minutes. They had to evvacuate the people on the ride manually.

After this incident was when we found out that George passed away in that same scene and that he has a "House" located in the jail scene which is just seconds after you pass by the burning city scene.

His "House" is the prop door that is located behind the dog with the keys in his mouth. Normally that door remains closed. But if you ever happen to catch that door open that means that good ol George is up to his little tricks.

The scary part was when learning this new information my cousin told me that the door indeed had been open that night!

So was George letting a few nimrods know he was around or was this just all a big to do about nothing?

Another George fact is that ALL workers of Pirates of The Caribbean have respect for him. They are required to tell him good morning and respect him or else he gets angry and the ride breaks down.

If I go back to DisneyWorld I'll have to try mocking George (and bring a voice recorder...maybe I could get an EVP XD)

I've also heard (on the Travel Channel) that some people believe Walt actually haunts part of the park, including his apparent there.

Well as many times as I have been to WDW and trust me when I say a lot I mean alot! I have never seen Walt. I have even been around after the park closes and nothing. Maybe he can be located in D-Land because his apartment is there. I would love to run into Walt's ghost.

are you sure that Walt doesn't just haunt that WDW but D-land too?
