The Contestant for Pictorial set of the loveliest girl on campus was decided on. Her identity will be revealed in May when the yearbook is released. Last night, the as yet unnamed lady, was selected from twelve applicants by the Women’s Club on campus. The editor of El Libro, Mickey Young plans to have a four page color picture spread in the yearbook. The contestants were interviewed by orchestra leader Bebe Shelton; Post drama critic Milton C. Goff, and a labor union official Mosco Mims.They then selected the contestant.

A generous donation from Retired General Alfred Lowe seals the deal for a boast worthy war memorial museum. Retired Marine General Alfred Lowe made the personal donation of over seventeen hundred items to Woofer University, from his private collection. Dating as far back as the war of 1812 his collection of artifacts contains small arms, hand weapons, armor, and military documents, among other things.

All Student Council positions must be vacated due to a technical error in balloting. The election results in last month’s contest have been invalidated due to an irregularity in balloting supervision, because of a clause in the election code of the campus. Senior Representative Gary Royce read the clause in a student council session held yesterday at the café.

April 16th Friday at 7:30 PM square dancing lessons will be given at the Recreation Hall. Curt Fels and Sandy Klien will be giving an hour long square dancing lesson of basic moves, to those who want to participate in the All Purpose Western Round-up on April 23. The round up is one of the largest events on campus.

The Assistant Dean confirms that there will be no cancellation of classes on Homecoming day. Assistant Dean Keens Purdy of the College of Liberal Arts confirmed today that due to a visit by local high school students. The Homecoming committee, of which he is a member, has rescinded the cancellation of classes; so that the visiting students can witness the schools everyday function.
