I could've sworn I had made a thread for this before.....

Demo's coming out on November 6 biggrin

Oh good, after Dead Space, a demo sounds great. I'll get to know what the game is actually like.
So wait... Is there single player mode in this game? Or is the demo gonna be multiplayer?

I'm guessing multiplayer. The whole thing has been advertised as much since it was announced.

Well, I'll definitely check it out. My friends disparately want to get me to play an online game on the PC.

Ooooh man.....it's pretty fun. I had plenty of "oh s**t, oh s**t!" moments and the adjustable difficulty is a nice touch too. Normal got pretty easy after the first two playthroughs. Tanks are still a b***h on normal though

Normally i would be really excited about this game but i feel so left out since i cant do any online co-op. I plan on playing it anyway but i wish i had a wireless network in my room so i could experience the online co op greatness.

I'll see the PC requirements, then I might pick it up. My friend is bugging me to get it. He desperately wants to play an online zombie game with me.
But that won't be for a while, I have 4 games to buy, which all come out this month, and all take priority over Left 4 Dead.

Ive read somewhere that you could also be a zombie or control them or something instead of being the survivor.

Yeah, I heard that too. But I don't like that at all. I'll only be playing co-op vs. AI Zombies.

Only co-op against AI Zombies!? What? If I had the system to play it on, I'd go either or... sometimes survivors, sometimes zombies.

When human players take over zombies, you never know what they might do. They might start making strategies and using tactics. I want my zombies to be completely chaotic, no reasoning behind their actions.

Well if I remember straight, there are 4 special zombie types the characters can play as, maybe not at the same time so there would be little strategy and tactics involved.

Still, there's also a mode where it's pure co-op vs. AI, so I'll just be playing that mode.

To be fair, the only zombies they control are special types which already seem to have above average intelligence....even Boomers seem to be smarter than your usual infected.

I think Witches are really the only types that don't really go out of their way to be...."smart"....

I still think that it's an interesting addition to the game. I always wanted to play as a zombie and control an army of them.
