Do not expect me to answer your questions ASAP I do have a real life and it may take me a while before I answer. I do go to work full time and go to school as well.

~About the Username~

So why Rhiannon Daimon?

Well Rhiannon is a Celtic deity. The name means "Maid of Annwn," or it's older Gaulish version means "great queen”. In Welsh/ Cornish} it means "The Great Queen". Rhiannon's original name is thought to be Rigatona (Gaulish), also meaning "great queen", indicating a much higher status in the Celtic pantheon than she enjoys today. Some sources say she was once a Sun Goddess.

Rhiannon is the goddess of birds and horses, enchantments, fertility, and the Underworld. She rides a swift white horse. Rhiannon is believed to be the Welsh counterpart of Gaulish horse goddess Epona. Her son, Pryderi, succeeded his father Pwyll as the ruler of Dyfed and of the otherworld.

She is the wife of Pwyll, and mother of Pryderi. Unjustly accused of destroying Her newborn son (who had been kidnapped by a nameless Fiend), She is compelled to take on the role of a horse, until Her son is unexpectedly returned to her. She is also considered as an aspect of the Irish Morrigan

In her guise as a death Goddess, Rhiannon could sing sweetly enough to lure all those in hearing to their deaths, and therefore she may be related to Germanic stories of lake and river faeries who sang seductively to lure sailors and fishermen to their deaths. In magick and ritual Rhiannon can aid in overcoming enemies, exercising patience, working magick, moon rituals and enhancing dream work.

Daimon: is an ancient Greek work. Depending on the sources you read the word means. Blessed of the gods, gift of the gods, minor god or goddess, or spirit of the gods.

The reason for the Celtic and Greek mix is because those are the two pagan religions that I like the most. And they suit each other quite well as I myself am not a goddess but I do have what would have been called the gifts. These gifts being able to read cards and dreams. (see the about me for more details.)

~About Me~

I am 22 years-old, I rent my bedroom from my parents. I know it’s lame but the rent is cheap. I have a full time Job and I am in School full time.

I work in a clothing store – Thrills, I hate watching preppy people come in pretend they like the clothes. Try on a few of them, make a mess and leave saying that they wouldn’t be caught dead in that style. I want to get a better job.

I’m really into astrology I have a few tarot decks of my own. I also interoperate dreams. I’m starting to get into palm reading. I have this lovely woman who is in her 90’s teaching me. I just started so I’m not that good at it yet. I’m still trying to learn the basics such as what finger is called what, the different hand, skin, and finger print types. I eventually want to get a set of my own runes so that I can do rune readings as well.

I love animals. At the moment I have one dog but I want to get a cat. But the kitty will have to wait (my dad is allergic to cats.)
