What about "The Lover" or "The North China Lover" by Marguerite Duras Loved The Lover and The North China Lover! Marguerite Duras is a brilliant writer. Oh Luiloth I am the same, I have libraries all over my house and I try to read 2 or 3 at a time but sadly, I am doing a poor job at it lately. lol The Grapes of Wrath
