Sales F.A.Q. Flatsales How much does a Flatsale cost? -- 20,000.
Do we have to pay the 20,000 in gold? - While gold is preferred, if you have to pay in some items, we'll work something out. Be prepared though that we're only looking for Donation Letters, Donation Items, and varying Event Items.
Do we send the trade after our winnings have been confirmed? - YES. The only guarantee that your character will be started is by sending that trade.
Can we participate for ourselves and a friend? - NO. You are participating only for yourself. If a friend wishes to participate but cannot be there, well.. they're kind of out of luck since prompts are generally not posted ahead of time and therefore no prior information can be released.
Can we partner up in the sale? - This is another way of saying, "Can we co-own?" No. You can't. There will be some very small exceptions but at the time, there is no way for anyone to co-own (lest you bribe me properly enough.).
Do we have to follow the sale's guidelines? - YES. If you don't, you do not get a character. Simple as that.
Why is each flatsale specified in what Faction you are releasing, stage, ect.? - This helps to keep role play flowing, and it also means that we won't have an overabundance of Turks, SOLDIERs, ect.
Can we ask for one of the original game / movie characters in a sale? - Another big NO. Original game / movie characters are all saved for auctions, in some cases raffles and events, and in even smaller cases, bribing fodder (it'd have to be a GREAT bribe). You'll have to wait around for those.
Are we allowed to choose what stage we start our character at? - Yes you are, but this is depending if it is not a predetermined stage sale. Those will be rare occurances though so I wouldn't worry. The only time you really have to worry is on Faction sales.
So... how many different kinds of sales are there? - The sales go as follows: Regular Sale, Faction Sale, Stage Sale.
What does each sale mean? - A Regular Sale means that there are no predeterminations made. You get to choose what faction you want (aside from ones that are not available in sales), a Faction Sale means that we are only accepting characters to be a part of a certain faction(s), and Stage Sale means that this is a sale where (depending if we only want certain factions or not) the stage of the character is predetermined.
What factions aren't allowed in a Flat Sale? - Jenova SOLDIERs, Weapon SOLDIERs, and Sephiroth Clones (which would fall technically, under Jenova SOLDIERs). There are no exceptions for these.
Are we allowed to choose our colorist? - The only times you are allowed to choose your colorist are in free-for-all auctions and pet trades. Otherwise, we alternate as we see fit.
Auctions What is the starting bid on auctions? - 20,000, same as a flat sale.
Is there an autobuy? - No.
Are the auctions like flat sales? - For the most part, yes, save for you don't have to do a prompt, and you generally won't have to feel any restrictions aside from a Faction restriction every now and then.
Are we allowed to obtain original game / movie characters in auctions? - Yes, you are but only if that is what's being auctioned or if we allow a free-for-all custom auction, which means anything is available (outside of Sephiroth Clones).
Can we co-bid? - You can but that doesn't mean you get to co-own the character, unless it's a twin / partner auction.
What is a partner auction anyway? - A partner auction is something like Reno and Rude being released together; they're on the same cert, they're in the same faction, ect. This means that you have to do co-bidding and that each of you gets to play which character you want.
Are twin auctions the same way? - Basically! Twins, naturally, though are siblings.
Will we be allowed to bid items in the auction? - Yes, but only the items listed and at our prices, which will be posted in the auction thread.

Ownership F.A.Q. How many can we own? - Only one.
Why only one? - Because we feel that one is enough!
Are we allowed to co-own? - The only exceptions to co-owning are Partner and Twin characters. Otherwise, no.
Why can't we co-own? - Because it would, for the most part, kill the character. Not in the sense of 'omgucntrpthemnemore!' but rather in the sense that it won't make sense when two different people are roleplaying him. We know some shops allow this but we don't. You'll just have to acquire your own.
Is role play required? - YES.
Why is it required? - Because we want it to be. razz You don't need a reason other than that, but we also want this shop to be role play required because this will not only bring people together, but it will give us something to do, and it would make drawing all those different versions of your character worth it!
Do we have to have played the game / seen the movie in order to be an owner? - No, not at all! We're leaving this entire place very "free" of the fandom so that anyone is capable of joining. We try to provide as much information as possible without confusing you.

Character F.A.Q. So, we're allowed to make our own character? - You certainly are! We encourage you to be as inventive as possible while still staying within the realm of just plausible. Remember, in FFVII there were no anthromorphs (the closest that came to being a talking 'furre' was Red XIII / Nanaki).
Can we play as one of the original game / movie characters? - Not unless you get that character through auction, event, or some other means and are recognized by the staff as a part of the list.
Why can't we? - Because then everyone wants to be them and everyone will make them. You can attain them through auctions, events, pet trades, and sometimes raffles, if we do them.
Well, are there any characters that won't be released? - For sure we know that Barret will not be released. His character is considered to be retired in this day and age, a little too old to undergo the tougher life; not to mention he has decided that what Shinra Corporation doing now is the best course of action and sees no reason to begin another long battle with them.
Can we make a Sephiroth Clone? - Not without attaining prior consent from us, but even then your means of acquiring them will be limited. We are going to consider Sephiroth Clones extremely rare, perhaps moreso than Jenova and Weapon SOLDIERs. These will have to be acquired at a great deal of a price even after having been approved to be created.
Why is it so hard to acquire a Sephiroth Clone? - Because the Sephiroth Clones are extremely powerful and dangerous; not to mention that they will have relations to the Sephiroth and other incidents in the game. We want to make sure you know what you're doing and that you will play the character correctly without screwing up.
Okay, so, how do we get a Sephiroth Clone? - You'll need to fill out a request form, which will be posted on the main thread. You fill this all out and send it to the staff mule and we'll read it over and decide what to do from there. This only means that you are approved to have the character, but you still have to buy it somehow.
Well, where do you buy the Sephiroth Clone? - Through a predetermined source of funds, a great pet trade, an excellent item bribe, or in a free-for-all auction.
Could we make an anthromorph character? - I'd like to say no... but the only times Anthromorphs are allowed to come into play are probably as Genetic Mutations (Created by the Shinra Corporation) and maybe as a result of being a Weapon SOLDIER. However, regardless of how, the only method would be through pet trade, item bribe, auction, event, ect. I don't want to see a lot; I draw enough furres.
Could we make a character like Nanaki? - I'm afraid that the chances are no. In the game, Nanaki was the last surviving of his kind, at least until 500 years after the game when he has two children. However, we're not that far into the story. Exceptions may be made in future roleplays, but on a lighter note, at least Nanaki will be a character you can get!
Can our character be related to any of the original game / movie cast? - No, no, no, NO. Too many people do this and it's extremely annoying because they are, generally, exactly just like the character they're related to. We may allow some small exceptions but I certainly would not get my hopes up. If we do allow something like this, we'll probably release it via auction or otherwise.
Can my Gaia character be my character? - They sure can!
Can we base our character off of characters from the other Final Fantasy games? - No. The reason being is that the characters are from the other games and it intereferes. Sorry.

Role Play F.A.Q. Do we have to be a great role player in order to own one? - No, you don't. Role playing is about fun; it's not about quantity, it's about quality. The only things we ask is that you use proper grammar and spelling; translation: no netspeak.
What Point of View do we have to role play in? - Third person. This means that you don't talk as in, "I walk over to you and shake your hand with mine." Third person is generally what Point of View a book is written in.
Do we have to be an owner in order to play? - No, you don't. We encourage people to come in from the outside and join us in role plays. It makes things fun.
Well, what if we want to role play our future character? - Um.. I'll get back to you on that. >>
How often do we have to role play? - Not too often. We ask that you make at least one big role play / journal post that explains what's been going on in your character's life in their journal at least once a month, or you can role play with us several times a month. It doesn't really matter.
Why is role play so important? - Role play helps your character grow. If you don't role play, they don't grow, and you run the risk of losing them. Role play also helps to develop them and to help create stories to play.

Factions F.A.Q. What are Factions? - Factions are groups within the shop that your character can choose to become a part of. Becoming a part of a faction means that your character could possibly grow faster, acquire special items, or other tidbits.
Is it required to be a part of a Faction? - Not at all. You can choose to just be a civilian if that's what you wish.
Are the factions listed the only ones available? - Those are all the official ones. However, you can also start your own faction and fill out a request to have it become official.
What do the factions do? - They provide interaction between groups and they help to push stories along.

Limit Breaks F.A.Q. What are Limit Breaks? - Limit Breaks are a powerful move that a character will perform when they've undergone a lot of physical damage. Usually this occurs when they're towards the brink of fainting.
How many limit breaks do our characters get? - You receive seven limit breaks in total.
How do we get them? - Your first limit break is automatically bestowed upon your character when they reach a certain stage, which is dependant upon what faction they're in, what type of character they are, and, naturally, your role playing. Afterwards, you have to undergo certain quests in order to obtain them, as well as reach certain stages.
Do we get to choose what the limit breaks are? - Yes, you do. You have to get them approved by staff, but you do get to create them.
Are we allowed to change limit breaks later? - No, you aren't. You have seven limit break slots you can fill. There is no reason to change them later on.

Materia F.A.Q. What is Materia? - Materia are orbs of concentrated Life Stream that can allow you to perform certain abilities and magic spells. They are found all over the world and there are several different kinds.
How many different kinds of Materia are there? - Five different kinds, each colored accordingly.
What are the Materia and their colors? - Magic Materia (Green), Command Materia (Yellow), Summon Materia (Red), Support Materia (Blue), and Independant Materia (Purple).
How does one acquire Materia? - You can obtain Materia from the store, through RP, and other means.
How much Materia can you have? - As much as you want, but you're limited in how many you can equip.
How does one equip Materia? - Materia is equipped to your character's armor and weapons. Most armor and weapons have slots that can be filled with Materia.
Is there a list of Materia? - Not yet, but we'll be writing it soon!

Chocobo F.A.Q. What are Chocobos? - Chocobos are large flightless birds that are used primarily as mounts in the world. They come in a variety of colors, though they are primarily Yellow.
How much are Chocobos? - 1,000 gold each.
What can you use a Chocobo for? - Chocobos can be used as Mounts, for Racing, as Companions, or just as a pet. Some use them for labor too, to help till farmlands.
Is a Chocobo role play required? - No, it isn't. Chocobos would be hard to role play since they are unable to talk to humans; only to each other, and it leaves it to be very limited.
Can we role play our Chocobo still? - Yes, you most certainly can!
Do you have to be a part of the game already (eg, a character) to get a Chocobo? - Not at all! Chocobos are free for all.
How many Chocobos can we own? - You are only allowed to own four Chocobos.
Are we allowed to release / give away our Chocobos if we no longer wish to have them? - Yes, you may. Releasing a Chocobo means that it will never be seen again. If you give the Chocobo to someone else, then it's theirs forever until they decide to get rid of it.
How many different colors are there? - The most primary color for a Chocobo is Yellow. There is also confirmed and "normal" color mutations: Black, Green, Blue, and the super rare Gold Chocobo. There have been unnatural occurances in breeding though, as well: White, Pink, Purple, and Pastel Colors.
Do the different colors mean anything? - Actually they do! A Yellow Chocobo can do nothing more aside from cross shallow waters and run across land. A Green Chocobo can run over mountains, a Blue Chocobo can run across the ocean, a Black Chocobo can do everything a Green Chocobo can (and is needed to breed for the Gold Chocobo), and a Gold Chocobo can do anything! It can run over Mountains and cross Oceans, not to mention it's usually a supremely fast runner for races.
