I got this message in my inbox today and was appalled that even someone's birthday is an opportunity to plague me to spend cash:

I hate when you get that pm for a person you just meet. I got one the other day for a guy I had meet the night before on Zomg.
Why should I bother getting that guy anything?

You folks are talking about the PMs from Flynn that come up every so often, correct?
Those truly irk and annoy me greatly. In all honesty, I cannot say that there's anyone that I can say that I can see myself spending any real money on.
"Oh ... uh, who's this that has a birthday again? Oh yeah. I talked to him/her once or twice in a guild ..."
This practice truly irks me beyond belief. I find it incredibly intrusive, to say the least. It's almost as bad as some kid PMing you with "O hay u shud don8 meh ur *insert any item worth 50k or more*!!1! plz plz don8?!?!1!"
