What Belongs Here

The Non-Original RPs Subforum is a place for members to make and join various assortments of RPs that are based on any pre-existing media, such as an anime, a book, a movie, a TV series, etc. In other words, it's an original storyline. Now, some Non-Original RPs don't actually belong in the Non-Original RPs Subforum and I'm going to explain that to you now.

Casual RPs belong in the Casual RP Subforum, regardless of whether they are original or non-original. If the RP you want to set up is a casual RP, such as a cafe setting, then please post it in the Casual RP Subforum instead.

Private RPs belong in the Private RP Subforum, regardless of whether they are original or non-original. If the RP you want to set up is a private RP, meaning that it has a small amount of select members, please post it in the Private RP forum instead.

Basic RP Rules
(Stolen from the All-Out Clamp RP Guild. Lol.)

- No god modding.

- No cybering.

- Be as literate as possible. Punctuation and spelling are important to
being understood. We all want to be understood, ne?

- Write in third person.

- Keep OOC comments in some kind of brackets parenthesis etc.

- Try to have more than one sentence per post; it makes things run alot more smoothly.

Setting Up & Maintaining RPs

1. Create a thread.

2. Give it a title. Include any important details in the title such as: if it is Alternate Universe [AU], Shonen-ai [BL], Shoujo-ai [GL], etc.

3. Give a brief description of your thread in the first post.

4. Keep track of who joins your RP and what they're doing. If someone seems to be violating the rules in some way, notify a crew member and we'll handle it.

5. Feel free to create your own rules list, specially designed for your RP. For example, if you want to put a limit on how many characters someone can RP as or if you want to disallow original characters, write it down as a rule.

6. Don't set up an RP just to abandon it. RPs are like children; if you don't watch after them, something will go wrong and if something goes wrong, someone may crack down on you for negligence. Lol.
