An arena, opened to hold only the best of fighters, was succesful. It attracted not only warriors, but archmages, rogues, and all kinds of deathdealers. In some cases, the winners came to draws. In others, there was clear dominance. The circumstances surrounding this arena was extremely suspicious. No one was told anything other than who to fight and where. The fighters who came didn't even know for who they were fighting, only that the prize, a power not yet seen in the land, had called to the souls of the powerful. Now, after all the competition is over, the victors are assembled in a small room, only large enough to comfortably hold twelve people. Sitting in large, nightmarish, angelic, and commanplace chairs, sat three men who matched the chairs they were sitting on. Finally, those who had struggled so hard would know for what they had fought.

Still wearing his cloak, with the hood up, Medraz stands in the corner. His identity would already be known of course, but since the hood was up, he could look wherever he wanted, and no-one would know. Looking at the three men in the chairs again, he couldn't help but be impressed by their demeanor. Idly waiting for the talking to start, he looks around the room, to kill time more than anything else.

Yevron, the dark elf samurai, stood to one side of the room, his body stance relaxed and his katana and wakasazhi sheathed comfortably at his waist. The black traveling cloak he wore to disguise his black skin was open with the hood down to expose the skin that marked his heritage. His semi long white hair covered half of his face, and the half that was exposed showed his tatoo, a depiction of flames that covered half his face.

James sighed as he read a book. He wore his cloak with the hood up, idly fumbling with the emerald clasp with one hand. He stood in against the wall, half of his body covered in shadow. He kept his magic at the ready, although he looked relaxed. He only paid a little attention to those around him.

The man who sat in the middle, the one who appeared to be commonplace, glanced around the room, examing all the people carefully. "It is time." He declared loudly. His voice broke into everyone's minds, and it seemed to echo, breaking everybody's concentrations. "It is time," He repeated. "For you to know why you have fought, why you have struggled, and most importantly, why you have won." The man stared each person in the eyes. "You have been assembled here, to be sent on a quest. No ordinary quest will it be, for none of you have any knowledge of the place to which you are being sent, I can assure you." The man in the nighmarish chair was grinning intensly, while the angelic one was frowning with the same measure of passion. "You will be sent to another plane of existance, that none but us three know of. Will you brave this plane?"
((If you want to build a futuristic character, not lasers and stuff, but slightly more advanced than current day, you can have two characters in this RP. We're being sent into the future.))

Trevakri turned the head to look at the three men staring at them. The one in the middle, he was the one that had broken through her mental blocks when he began to speak. She didn't bother trying to read thoughts, that she couldn't do. It was obvious that this mission was obviously dangerous, by both the circumstances that had brought them there, and by the expressions of the three men.
Keeping her eyes on the three men, she laughed softly. "A world we don't know of? Such a thing intrigues me." Her voice was quiet, but it rang clear. She smiled softly, her visage seeming to want to do nothing more than destroy all around her.

James nodded. He had made his way slowly to the middle of the wall instead of the corner, still using the shadows. He had stowed his book in his cloak.

"If only the three of you know of this plane, then why let us in on the secret?" came a hissing voice from a figure crouched near the middle of the room. "We hold no alliance to you. We could easily take this secret of ours, and give it to others. Unless you have something that you know will keep it a secret." He noted, scanning the three men with pale, reptilian eyes. Tevren had been crouched in the same position since he entered the room, and only now spoke. His dark green scales gave off no glints in the light of the room, almost giving the impression that he was made of rock.

"Please." Medraz mutters under his breath, rolling his eyes. Speaking up to the leaders, he interrupts Tevrak's hostile remark with a question. "What is in this 'other plane of existence'?"

Than angelic man, still frowning, took his turn at speach. "We would send you there because our power does not extend to this plane, but we know that it is inherantly tied to the destruction of our own, nay, of all planes of existance." He sighed. "I do not like it, but none of you can exit this room. You fought, and by obscure rules that we put in place, you cannot leave." The demonic man, still smiling insanely, opened his mouth next. "I do not like that we are sending you, I'd much rather prefer everything to return to nothing, but my two counterparts have forced me into this action. You will be going to a place where magic is nonexsistant, and any show of magic you do there will be noted, so don't, or do, if you ask me, use it more often than necassary. There, technologies are so much more advanced than ours, that at first, none of it will make sense to you." Yevron nodded, takin it stoically as he always did.

James hissed softly. Magic was his only skill, for with it, he had never needed to learn how to fight with a physically held weapon. He didn't like the sound of this second "plane" already. He'd follow the advice of the angelic man and use it nonetheless.

"Ah." Was Tevren's only reply to the new information, but his tail was now twitching ever so slightly, and he drew to his feet. Although he wasn't tall, barely reaching 4 feet, the lizardlike creature still seemed impressive, with gleaming teeth and thickly built limbs.

Trevakri kept the face in a smile, and even let out a laugh. "You are clever ones, you are. Magical contracts, unknown rules. A realm where technology and science dominate the belief in magic." She kept her violent violet eyes locked onto the man in the middle, still trying to sense around herself to learn more about the others. "Belief is such a powerful thing. It lets me have this body. And if it should die in that realm, it will be much harder to find a substitute."

"Your bodies will remain as they are, as will your powers, but I must warn you not to allow yourselves to be destroyed. It will only speed the process of the destruction of all planes." The middle man said. Then suddenly the room seemed to be spinning, and everybody, except the three men, started to hear odd voices in their heads. Bits and pieces of the lives of those around them. After a few minutes, it stopped, and the party found themselve standing in a dark warehouse, with strange boxes (cardboard) around them, stacked high. There were wide windows, through which sunlight streamed, and at the far end of the room there was what seemed to be an entrance into the outside world. The dark elf samurai moved around slowly, hands on his blades, examining the new surroundings.

The Inspired made the body smile. Trevakri was going to have fun. Maybe she could even open up this world to inhabitation. She turned the head, glancing at all the boxes. She touched them. "Odd material," she muttered poking them. "Almost like paper." Her left hand pulled away from her body, and her thoughts began to center around that. She focused the thoughts, filling them with an edge, a need to exist, and with malice. A small dagger-like blade faded into her hand, and she slashed at the boxes around her with it, wanting to see what is inside.
