Yes, I have both done, just plain horizontal, 14 gauge, nothing fancy. To me it was the most painful thing I ever done (and I had 2 kids, one was born at home with no pain killers) but I am a wimp. Ask me if I would do it again.... no. But I do not regret it, and I still love the way it looks.
I did remove them for a couple of years because some problems, and I had to have the holes reopened, but it was not the same as repiercing them.

Edit: The problems I was having had nothing to do with the piercings in general. I breast fed both of my girls and I have since lactated on occasion, especially when around a baby for more than just a few hours. (I could have been a wet nurse way back when, lol). I was pierced several years after my kids were weaned. After I had been pierced for 5 or 6 years, I started lactating again, and it became painful and tried to get infected.

So you should totally get your girly parts pierced. but here are some things that some people have said, and some other things I've discovered that no one seemed to find important enough to tell me. But I wished they would have. So its incredibly painful for some people, I think the larger the breast, the more painful (in my experience talking with girls). While the initial piercing is pretty painful, its really the aftercare and continuous brushing up against, rubbing and movement thats going to bother them (duh). What no one tells you about n****e piercings, however, is that they kind of stink. Like even after they've healed, if I don't wash mine everyday, they get dirty (just like gauges and all your other piercings) so don't forget, otherwise you'll have stinky nipples.... eeeeeeewwwwwww.
