Prophecy and Destiny So I missed the first episode because of stupid work. But I plan on watching it tomorrow at 3:00pm. So tell me what you think so far. I like it. I think the characters are portrayed very well. Yes there is some off things here and there. But the main events of the story seem to be followed. I am pissed that I missed the first episode!!

I don't get to see it at all, it airs on Cable and all I get is air signal, cause right now it' a luxury that my family can't afford... yay bills, and school. crying

I missed the first episode and part of the second, since the SoT website told me it was on at 6 for my area...and apparently meant 6 for a different time zone, because it started at 5!
but i felt cheated by a few scenes. They added a scene in ep two that had richard arguing with zedd and basically charging him and kahlan on a horse with the sword of truth, and i just about died cursing them! lol richard just...would never do that. I also felt they didn't show the d'harans fear of magic as well as they could have. they just waltz on through the boundary like magic is the best thing in the world...and kahlan's fainting spells after using her power were a bit too dramatic, i think, she was weak after her power was used but in the books she could still function.
but other than that...it was actually pretty nifty. i liked the fight scenes, and kahlans pretty cool. plus...richard = hawt. so points for that. lol
I don't have enough problems with it to keep me from watching it, thats for sure, and overall, i think the only reason they even made richard so immature was to show him grow over the series. they're being pretty true to the story, and the things that are off are probably because they HAVE to change some things to portray it in film rather than literature.

I don't even get to see it. There is nothing about it being aired in Australia. Hopefully it is is popular enough over there for it to be aired by a station here sometime soon.

I thought Richard was pretty Immature as well, he doesnt much seem to like Kahlan much yet either.
I think I only saw the first hour though, I watched the one on sunday at 4pm and they only showed up to where zedd named Richard the seeker and the fire deal happened, my dad said the show on saturday 8pm showed up to them getting to Adies house.
I know this is bad to say but... if some people wanted to then they could download the first 2 hour episode from torrent sites if they use a program like bitlord or something similar.. if they really wanted to. Im not saying that I currently have it being downloaded or anything, lol wink
I think there are alot of problems but Im still gonna watch. The fighting scenes were pretty sweet. The lightning hitting the sword of truth was pretty lame. I havent decided if I like it or not yet. But yea Richard is pretty Hot, I hope they make him build some more stuff..topless.

I saw that and almost had a hotflashes, almost ninja . Although I did laugh when Kahlan came upon Zedd at his Wizard's Rock and he used the Chicken. I thought they wouldn't do that but that was funny. I also noticed that Richard wasn't really interested in Kahlan but when she had put on the outfit from one of Chase's girls he seemed to be interested.

For those of all y'all like me, who don't get it on their channel, or missed it, it's available on torrents, already. I'm going to be watching my download in about 3-9 hours, depending on if it finishes withing 3, or if I go to bed before it finishes. Just google "Legend of the Seeker torrent" and you should find some decent downloads.
Also, if you don't already have a torrent download program, I recommend Azureus, or Vuze, as it's now called (apparently).

Yay I saw the first episode on Sunday at 3:00pm. Yeah Zedd and the chicken was hilarious. Yes Richard building things topless definitely needs to happen again. I really like the series. Instead of trying to compare everything to the book I think I'm going to see how they tell the story through the TV show. I'm just going to treat it as something new, someone else's version. It's hard to enjoy when I watch and say things out loud like "It didn't happen that way, or that wasn't supposed to happen". I won't! I won't!

I was flipping through the channels last night and the first episode was on again, which is weird cause last night was a wednesday.
Does anyone know if the show will be on the same time each week, liek saturday 8pm every week or what?

Well for the premiere for me it was 7-9pm and tomorrow it's going to be at 8:00pm. And yes it's going to be every Saturday.

Yea Zeke, they messed adie up quite a bit. They made her like ridiculously blind, couldnt she see with her gift?
I thought the night stone looked pretty funny too, it looked just like a plain old rock, lol.
