OK
heres the thing, I kno almost all of you have special abilities, based upon your elemental powers. Well, you have to think of things in certain ways. Your powers can either be stronger, or weaker in different areas. For example, if you have the abilities of the water element, your naturally going to be stronger where there is alot of water, and on the other hand if your in a desert area, your power is going to be dissipated.
Also, not only are your powers either stronger or weaker in certain areas, but also with whatever season it is and the time of day. For example ice elements would be more powerful in the winter, and fire in the summer, and Twilight(or shadow) in the night.
This is so no one person is greater in power than another, which is when technique and originality comes into play.

-clears throat and points to the board with Atamos' message with a long stick.- All right class, allow me to introduce myself (to anyone who doesn't know, or newer members that come along in the future) I am Vilamere the Wanderer.
You may or may not have seen my map of Gaia, but I am claiming the title of scholar and I am here to answer any questions you might have concerning the Balance of Power.
I have been watching the use of others powers for some time and have developed many theories and facts of their strengths and weaknesses, one reason I am the Strategist of the Wind Tigers.
Any other moderators in this guild can also explain it to you, or if you have entered the apprenticeship program and taken a teacher they can too. Thats all for today's segment, I will be around to answer questions if you have them.

If you look at it this way darkness would be more powerful in an underground or windowless indoor location...outside in open sunlight, especially deserts, these powers would be drastically reduced. A good neutral location would be an area the casts many shadows such as a forest or a city, Another point is that Darkness powers are also more powerful during the night. open sunny areas bad, shady areas good, totally dark areas or night time best! anything else?

Just a friendly reminder to remember what area you at:
For example:
I might be in a certain location, it can be in the mountains, sea, or some other dimension. Remember, what are the advantages and disadvantages. Also, remember to read the post before you attack, if you just pop out of no where and start fighting, more likely, you going to sew up the battle and then we get all confused (well, not everyone will get confuzed)
REMEMBER: If your suddenly enter to an unknown dimension, it's the opponent's dimension, not yours.... wait till the opponent say what are the advantages or disadvantages!
