If you are reading this letter it means that you have been marked by our Goddess, Nyx. You have been chosen to undergo “the change!” More will be explained in the orientation for all new comers. Be warned that there is no turning back once you have accepted to join the school!

Of course you should always follow the guidelines of Gaia, that’s a given!
-Please do not question my authority for I am you High Priestess and will be addressed so, unless told other wise.
-Though I will allow fighting, but no killing unless you get permission. You also have to show me that you got permission of I will be questioning you!
-Cursing is allowed, but don’t go overboard with it!
-Please stick to the character profile script I have provided.
-Be sure when you send me your profile title the pm “House of Night,” or I won’t know what it is and it will be trashed (put a 4laugh in your pm so I know you read the rules)! Also I would recommend reading the history; don’t worry it’s really short and to the point, but the reason I would recommend it is because it will tell you to put something in your pm so I know you’ve read it!
-You don’t have to read the history if you don’t want to!
-This is a high school that doesn’t mind romance, but please take it to your room/ pm if it gets intense!
-I’m not picky you can have yaoi, yuri, and even straight couples in this rp! *if it is yaoi or yuri though I would like a pm of what you did cause I’m writing a manga and I need inspiration, thanks!! X3)
-Please, no one liners, I understand writers block and such, but at least get three to five sentences out in your post, if you can write more that’s great. I prefer paragraphs, but we can’t have it all! X3

Dark Daughters and Sons This is a club with in the school; it is made up of 6 prefects. Each of these students are required to be roll models and are to help manage all aspects of student life here at The House of Night! The six prefects are to swear upon the five elements (like an oath) that Nyx provides us protection with. The prefects are to be authentic for air, fateful for fire, wise for water, empathic for earth, and sincere for spirit. If you think you are up for the job please include it in you pm. Once I have 6 and I see some of your post I will pick a leader of the group, or I might not it all depends!Check here for updates((I am also sorry if I am not on all the time, I have a lot of school work and such!! >.<))

History of the school! Thanks to Zoey Redbird, our school has been freed from Neferet’s evil grasp. She is to this day our best student and is to soon graduate from the house of night (and possible be your new High Priestess). Thought the school was founded before Neferet’s time, the school is in clean working conditions. Students are allowed to roam the school and the surrounding area as long as you cover up your mark and don’t draw attention to yourself. To this day, I am afraid to say that most humans have not accepted us, so for your own safety please do as told. Please do not stay out too long, 4 hours at the most, school hours are from 10: pm- 4:00 am, if you haven’t guessed it yet, this is a vampire school! It is based off the house of night series, the first book is chosen. If you have not read the book I would highly suggest it because it is a good book!

What you need to know about me is…… that I was born in Tokyo, Japan. When I was six years old, my mother and father were killed in a car crash, sence then I have put my self into reading and writing. When I was six, I was kidnapped by a coven of vampries, rapped, beaten and feed on until my brothers, Ruki and Suki saved me.

What you need to know about me is…… Well, my parents died, yet I don't know how, my twin Edward does, but won't tell me cause he doesn't want it to hurt me in any way. After that I was raised by Damian, a nice and caring man, but was not told of my twin's existence until recently. We hardly ever fight and love our friends Ru-ru, Yuki, and Su-su. Upon comming to this school, I was chosen as an assistant for the High Prestess, Edward is a helping hand as well. So if any student needs anything they can count on me!!!!

What you need to know about me is……I may seem unfriendly or jerky sometimes, but only when I'm annoyed with myself or someone else. I keep to myself most of the time, as I see no use of getting help from anyone else. I am quite a stubborn and arrogant teen. My mind hides a softer side of me, which shows in special situations, which I try to stay unknown to others.

 Haylee opened the door of the taxi, and looked out of the car. The tall building in front of her would be certainly a place she'd like immediately. The walls of the old school were covered in strings of heart-shaped plants. The smell of wood and moss drifted to her nose.
The girl payed the taxi driver and placed her feet on the gravel which squeaked under her trainer. Haylee looked back into the car. Her packed up bag lay on the seat. It was almost bursting as she had packed a mountain of items in it. Swinging it over her arm, she straightened herself and marched towards the school.

Marilynne looked out the window of the library to see a girl get out of a taxi. Marilynne had gotten to the school really early and had decided to look around the library.
She sighed as she closed a new book on calculus theories. She didn't want to prove she was the biggest nerd to everyone on the first day. She wanted to try and blend in and be "normal" . . . just for a little bit.
This was a new school and a new chance to start over.

Haylee pushed open the entrance door and entered. The inside looked as old as the outside. A smile appeared on the girl's lips. She will like it here.
Her gaze rested on her wrist, sticking out of her pocket. The red strip covering her right wrist was a sign she was born with, and the powers it gave her. The girl liked it though. It wasn't ever a problem for her to fit in with the humans, as she was like a magnet to social life.
Shammond advanced to the secretary, asking if there will be any meeting between the students and priestess, or anything similar.

Haylee turned around, at the source of the greeting. The girl was waved with a shy smile.
Hayley came up closer to the waving girl, and grinned pleasantly,"Hey There. Haylee, you?"
The girl with the foxy-colored hair, could now get a clear and close view of the pale teen. Haylee could easily guess the girl was a curious one, as her light blue eyes looked hungrily around, hungry for knowledge. Her thin lips bent in a small smile. Shammond was confuzed though. The girl looked for about an 8 or 9 year old.

She hoped that she was appearing to be a "normal" teenager.

"This is my first and I'm really excited," Marilynne replied. Kaloralyn flew up behind Marilynne and landed around her neck where it curled up and almost looked like a funny scraf.
"Hey Kaloralyn," Marilynne said stroking its feathery wings. "This is Haylee," Marilynne said as the serpent raised its head and looked at Haylee with calculating eyes.
