Biography~ When Victoria was born, she was ice cold, and didn't open her eyes, or cry. While her mother was screaming and complaining about this, a man in a dark black cloak came into the room, and took Victoria from her mother's arms. He explained to her mother and her father, that Victoria was much more special than a normal baby; she was a deity of the Underworld. Fortunately, they understood, and were happy to give her away to the strange man, mainly because they didn't want to die. When Victoria reached the age of 5, she began to notice her power. She had seen a ghost lying in her bed one night. The man had told her not to be afraid, and it was just a friend of his. He eventually explained to Victoria around the age of 13 that these people with see-through skin were not friends of his, and that they were ghosts of the underworld. He told her all about her powers, and how to use them. Unfortunately, she's still trying to control her powers, and over the years at Canyon View High, she's caused some trouble.
Personality~ Victoria is usually known as the nicest and quietest girl people have ever met. She often sits by herself, talking to ghosts, even though it looks as if she's talking to herself. She gets A's in all her classes, and knows all the students at CVH, mainly because she's the founder's niece, but that's a secret.

Extra Stuff You Should Know~ Doesn't usually fight because she's afraid she might kill her opponent, but she's known for being very good at it. She loves music; She has a golden eighth note necklace that she wears. It was received in the mail from her mother a few weeks ago. She was happy to hear that her parents were still alive. She hopes she'll be able to meet them again one day.

I'm a~ Senior
Biography~ When Serena's powers came to her when she was at a young age of five. For a while, things would happen to the air and water around her that was inexplainable, and for a while, her parents knew nothing about it. When she turned ten, her powers became much more prominent and much harder to control, mainly when she was experiencing moments of emotional flux. The only person she felt she could tell was her brother Jacob, and for a while, only Jacob knew. However, when Serena finally reached the age of thirteen her powers had matured, something much faster than her own body was, and she was no longer able to fully control them. She ended up telling her parents, who first took to shunning her, and finally kicking her out of the house. It was then that she was approached by a stranger, speaking of a place called Canyon View High. Following him, she was introduced to the school, it's students, and was finally glad she found a place that might explain her abnormalities.
It has been five years since then and Serena has worked long and hard to master both the elements she possesses power over.
Personality~ Serena has a gentle soul. She is quiet and calm like water, fluid with her motions and never clumsy, not for a moment. If you were to observe her, you'd think she was almost dancing... Every movement she makes seems like it's planned, for they are executed with grace. However, like flowing water, like changes in winds, she has a it of a temper. She wouldn't do anything to irrational, but she might say things she doesn't truly mean.

Extra Stuff You Should Know~ She loves the arts. Mainly she sticks with photography, but every so often she gets into a drawing mood. She also plays the guitar and the piano, though she loves to play guitar more often. She's a writer, and though she writes her own songs, she also does a few short stories here and there. Like I said, she's one for the arts.
It's also easy to read her emotions. Serena's emotions are reflected by her powers. If it suddenly starts to rain, she is sad... If it suddenly starts to storm outside, she's probably very angry. Other than that, when things around her are calm, she's content.

Biography~ Gem first realized her powers at the age of four when she accidentally managed to freeze the entire inside of her bedroom after a particularly bad tantrum involving ice cream. Since then, Gem has developed her frosty power, also discovering her control over light, and had only ever confided in her Mum until she came to Canyon View High.
Personality~ Although Gem appears shy at first, behaving fairly quiet around adults and students she doesn't know very well, she's outgoing amongst her friends, confident in duels and more than up for a good party - well, after any homework's finished of course.

Extra Stuff You Should Know~ Gem was named after her Grandmother and is proud of this fact even though she prefers to go by her nickname. Her only family is her Mum, as she never knew her Dad and has no siblings.

Biography~ Born into poverty in East End London, Caelan early learned the idea of helping only himself and working alone. Caelan stole, fought, and mugged to survive. Caelan learned at an early age he was 'special' when he had got into a fight over food and burned the other kid over their eye. Caelan was forced to flee the country, all the while practicing his talent. By the age of thirteen, not only had Caelan begin gaining control over his gift for fire, he also found he could control the shadows around him. His parents grew more and more tired of his 'devil-worshiping' and 'heathenism' over time and so threw him out of their 'house' [more like the car] and let him wander when he was 15. He was found by a mysterious man in an alley practicing his arts, and referred him to Canyon View High. Caelan has attended the school since, only intent on perfecting his ultimate fighting style.
Personality~ Not much of a people person, Caelan is known to keep to himself, barely paying attention to what's around him. He's made a few friends at Canyon View, but like usual, he runs with the 'wrong crowd', as in he's part of the troublemakers. He has a bad reputation, known for fighting for no reason, and to test people's patience. What most don't know, and wouldn't think, is that underneath all the piercings, ink, and grimacing is a vividly intelligent kid who only wants a place to stay.

Biography~ Jackie had a relatively average childhood, growing up in a suburban town with her parents, John and Trisha Baker, and the family cat, Rookie. She didn't even realize she was special until her parents became concered about what they thought was her overly-active imagination. She didn't know that when she spoke to Rookie, she was the only one that could hear him reply. Her parents didn't believe her until she asked him to meow three times, roll over, and run a lap around the room, and he obeyed. Since then, she has discovered that not only can she communicate with animals, she can also control them to an extent. She doesn't like to, though, unless there is an emergency.
Personality~ She is aloof, reserved, and not very trusting of anyone. She doesn't really care what other people think about her. She is extremely passive-aggressive; it is extremely rare to actually see her angry. She would rather wait until the perfect moment to get revenge rather than immediately get upset over something. However, she would never do anything to harm people she likes or doesn't know.

Extra Stuff You Should Know~ She prefers to be called Jackie. One of her best friends is a scrub jay whom she named Janice, and she has befriended a few other animals as well. Her favorite hobby is reading and writing, and while she doesn't really like school very much, she studies hard to get good grades anyway. She doesn't really know what she wants to do with her life yet.

Biography~ Mason has always been defined as a bright and cheerful person. All she wants is for everyone around her to be happy. So when her mom died when she was just eight years old, life became really difficult for her and her family. Her dad began working in the office a lot, leaving her twin brother Brandt and her on their own a lot. Over the next three years they grew closer than they ever have been, and Mason kept up her bright and cheery disposition. Then Mason and Brandt started showing signs of abnormalities, strange happenings that occured around them. They began playing around and experimenting, and soon were able to control their powers. Mason could bend and change light and manipulate air.
Personality~ As mentioned, her disposition is always positive and upbeat, cheery and bright. Shee goes out of her way to help people as much as she can. She is perfectly comfortable around people.

They've always shared a dorm room at Canyon View, and share the same basic intrests. They've stuck together through all the hard things that they've been through. He can do many differnt things with water, including freezing and shaping it to his will.
Personality~ His sister keeps his spirits up a lot of times. Whenever they're around each other, it's happy nice nice so much, it might make you sick. When he isn't with Mason, he usually just keeps to himself and is quiet.

Biography~ Born and raised in a small village in rural Ireland, Morgan loved spending as much time outside as possible. By the time she was five, she was helping her mother in her garden. It struck her mother strange that when Morgan started helping, the garden was at its best ever. The plants grew larger and faster, the flowers more vibrant and fragrant, the fruits and vegetables bigger and more tasty.
Morgan would also spend time in the fields and the borders of the forest near by. Sometimes the other children would play with her, but even when they didn't, she was never lonely. She wouldn't be out for more than ten minutes before animals would start coming out to join her. Everything from birds and stoats to badgers, foxes and the occasional red deer. At first, Morgan and her [arents didn't realize that these things were in anyway controlled by Morgan or any power she had, but she has slowly started to learn to harness these powers and put them to use.
Personality~ A bit shy at first, Morgan can be a very good friend once she likes you. She is rather slow to anger, but it's not pretty when she does get mad.

Biography~ Demi's mother was a human and her father was a vampire. Her mother died giving birth to her and she was raised by her older sister Heather. She has never met her father, but she visists her mother's grave every year. So, Demi is technically half vampire. Her sister helped her master her sound bending powers, because her sister bends rock. Although, she has always been on her own to learn her blood bending powers.
Personality~ Demi is extremly sassy and loves drama. She is always willing to stick up for a friend or fight for a boy. She is very romantic and her heart melts for a super sweet guy. However, she can be somewhat protective of herself and conserved, so she likes to take most relationships slowly.

Extra Stuff You Should Know~ Demi does not drink blood, but she can drain it. She uses blood just like anyone else would use any other element. She often uses her own blood as a weapon, because she doesn't need it to live (because she's half vampire).

Biography~ Having faced a tragic fire of which he was the only surviving member, Niallan Suoh, five years old, was place into an small orphanage. From there, he had come to learn how cruel the world can be and how one must become the strongest in order to make it in the world. Growing up and enduring bullying and mistreatment from the older kids and adults at the orphanage, Niallan became withdrawn and sullen, distrust becoming a major factor in his life. As he reached the age of ten, he suffered another fire, this one worse than the last as he had watched how it came to be- the orphanage had gone up in flames. It was then that a shocking realization came upon him and tortured memories began to plague him, even to this day. The fire five years ago and the fire now- he had been the cause of both. Realizing this truth, he ran away before any could see him and eventually- Niallan Souh was thought to be dead.
Growing up on the street was no worst than the orphanage. Living off scrap and trash, he knew he wasn't going to survive for long if he continued this way. Somehow managing though, Niallan, twelve, encounter a man by the name of Keiske Kaioh who, for once, showed him true kindness and took him in and from then on, Niallan Suoh became Niallan Kaioh. Although unable still to open his heart to the other, he fare well enough and was even able to come to term with his forsaken power as he taught himself how to control it.
Eventually, through the years, Niallan grew up to be a somewhat semi-normal boy. Enrolling into school, he quickly worked his way to the top but upon his nineteenth birthday, he somehow knew that things would not remain peaceful for long as Keiske passed away and an even more shocking surprise followed- gaining a large inheritance due to Keiske’s will. Dealing with not only in trying to live a normal life, he is now bombarded by (Keiske’s) unknown relatives who wish to have a hand at his fortune. Wishing to get away from such troubles, a little research led him to Canyon View High. Making his secret escape there and enrolling into the school- a new story was about to begin.
Personality~ Niallan’s true self is in being an arrogant and self absorb person but he wears a friendly façade. However though, one can easily tell that his smiles are entirely false as they never reach his cold eyes. Although distrustful of those around him, he has no problem in playing the innocent person if he knows that he can benefit from them.

Biography~ Alex was born in a small town in Texas. Not until he was thirteen, did Alex realize he had an elemental power. He was putting up Christmas decorations, when his mother noticed that the lightbulbs were glowing without being plugged in. After that incident he was sent to Canyon View High. He attended the school until his whole highschool experience was over. He now frequently visits to help others learn how to control their powers. I guess you could say is a tutor of some sorts and he helps out with the teachers as well.
Personality~ Alex is an extremely honest person who is very loyal. He is a straightforward guy and will say what is on his mind. He has a strong sense of justice and fair play, he is very social and open-minded to new ideas. He is a determined, ambitious; he will stop at nothing to get what he wants. But he is patient enough to wait for a good opportunity to get what he wants. He is a hard-workiner and is very energetic. He is a strong and powerful person, and is too prideful in his actions sometimes. He likes to say that he follows the beat of his own drummer. He is likely to be the first one to go to when you need help. Though, those are only Alex's strengths. He has some very bad characteristics as well. Such include, his laziness towards things he does not enjoy. Alex is cold and judgemental as well to people who he thinks are weak. He hates weakness and tends to push people who are weak out of his life. He has a worry, protective side when you mean a lot to him. He does not trust people twice, so if you have to lie to him, becareful. Another fault is how Alex has too much pride to want advice and dislikes it if you tell him what he should do. If he does trust you whole-heartedly or if he loves you, he is most likely to listen. He also does not keep good track of what he says and tends to have a sharp tongue.

Biography~ Elizabeth has lost most memorys from her past from before the age of twelve due to an unknown accident that happend a while ago. She has looked high and low, in old newpapers and books and everything and nothing has seemed to click in her mind. Any family or friends that she might have had back them were gone and she wanted them back. The only things that Elizabeth remembered was her name, who she was as a person and the strange abilities she was born with. Along with wanting to know who she is, she is also scared to find out, she is scared to know if she was meant to not remember. Also, at the moment, she is looking for anyone who could possably help her find out who or what she once was. She is particuraly looking for someone that also has an elemen and that will stay by her side no matter if the results of her past are good..or bad.
Elizabeth's strange abilities include two things. One is a burning fire that takes on diffrent colors of the rainbow from red, to indigo, and every color inbetween.Ever sence she can remember, she has had trouble controling it. Her other ability is the power of song. Around a year after her memroy loss, when she was about fourteen, she discovered this power. If Elizabeth sings certain words from an antiant language in a certain tune, she can control some things. She can control the growth of plants and other things. The only thing that she cann't do is controll the minds of humans.She has never used any of her elements in front of anyone before.
Personality~ Alice is known in CVH for her quiet and kind ways. She is outgoing and sweet, and can make friends in a heartbeat. Sience she has lost her memory, she is very open hearted to love. She is a romantic and her favourite gift to be given is a violet lilly, her favourite flower.

Extra Stuff You Should Know~ Elizabeth has a bet bird named Mitsuba that is about the size of a golf ball. It is black with golden tipped wings and golden eyes. It will either be in her dorm room, or following her around somewhere. The bird is all that she has from her past accept for her identity.

Biography~ She had always been wierd and anitsocial. She had never really taken notice of her "power" until she hit the naive age of nine. Some gaudy bullies regularly taunted her because of her uniqueness and one day she just...
...snapped...
She was overwhelmed with such uncontrollable rage, this resulted in her extreme emotions overflowing into the other students in a close radius from her. The poor teachers on duty couldn't stop the unfortunate affects of the rage induced by her ability and so after her rage dispersed, the students 'awakened' from their rage and seemed confused and dazed as if nothing had happened.
Personality~ Quiet. Very quiet, she will only speak unless spoken to and will usually keep her answers short and blunt. Knowlegde is what she seeks and so books are her friends because they cannot be affected by emotion. And although she has rarely made friends, she is ridiculously loyal.
What I Look Like~ Even though light never really reaches the surface of her skin, her tanned colour is genetic and so are her cerulean blue eyes. Her raven hair does start out dead straight, but her locks end up in loose ringlets and the ends tickle her elbow. This is what she would look like if you ever had the opportunity to see her under her dark cloak....
My Elements~ Emotion Manipulation
Extra Stuff You Should Know~ She's used to abuse, mentally and physically, but if you do get on her nerves her temper will give you a response- sweet and short (okay, maybe not so sweet...). Her favourite locations would have to be the Library, any empty rooms and in trees outside. Oh yeah and her middle name is pronounced like the words [sigh-lean]. mrgreen
