Perhaps a council of artists should join forces for the greater good. It could work out to our advantage in the long run of Utopia. So, to begin the discussion of a group of artists, we first must define Art. What is art?

Art is any arrangment of objects, lines or various other materials in attempt to express a feeling, emotion or setting. ^^ I'm almost to smart for my own good. I would love to join an artist council, however I don't think I'm terribly wonderful at art. Plus, I have artists block.

art... art is expression. expression of feelings that can't be portrayed in any other way. it isn't only through lines, shapes, pencil on paper. art can be singing, dancing, giving a speech, or painting your toe nails! art is a wonderful thing that lets people communicate. what's beautiful about art is that you don't necessarily have to use words. 3nodding

The way that you describe art could be considered art... a paradox to ponder.

Art is something that each individual has to figure out for themselves. ninja Like most things, except math.

Back again! I'm loving these responses. I'm going to let the answers come in for a while, then add a new question to discuss.

Art is something to be enjoyed, and to be improved. There is no better art, or no worse are there just is, art.
