Well, I know I haven't been on for a while, but it's totally explainable. I was at the Center for Creative Youth for all of July, and through the middle of August I was in New York at a musical theatre training session. At either of these places was there Internet, or when Internet was available it was timed for about an hour. And after that I didn't have Internet at my house for about a week, and then when we finally got internet back, the stupid hurricane (Katrina) hit, and basically turned my life upside down by devastating my hometown of New Orleans. So, yeah. I know it's been a while, but I would really like to get everything going again and get the first semester started within the next week or so.

Updates:
Some majors will not be available, as there is an obvious shortage of teachers and students. Teachers must have experience in their selected majors and must be constantly learning on Gaia. Otherwise students will not learn anything and Gaia University will not be respected.

Here is the list of majors and their descriptions:
Aiko-Mei Conservatory
Dance (ballet and jazz)
A dance major will take a total of eight semesters of training in RP Dance. Besides learning the art of dance in technical form, a dance degree also opens doors to higher paying jobs within the world of Gaia.

RP Creative Posting
For those who are interested in learning the art of Creative Posting, this major is for you. This interdisciplinary focus covers all areas of RP Language, including character development, proper use of magic and battling. An integral part of the RP Battling curriculum.

New World College of Role-Playing Skills
RP Battling and Literacy
The most coveted skill today in the world of RP Battling is the ability to fight efficiently. RP Battling and Literacy majors will embark on a journey to becoming brave and efficient battlers.

School of Business
RP Business Administration
Newcomers will especially benefit from the skill of Business Administration. Though there are many forms to starting a business, only those who are experienced will create successful ones. Creating businesses within the University are also encouraged, for they allow teachers to see progress and can be a starting point to popular businesses within Gaia forums.

Ono School of Gaian Humanities and Economics
Gaia Humanities
For those who want to learn more about the rules and regulations of Gaia, a Gaia Humanities major may be for you. This interdisciplinary focus incorporates Gaia Rules and Regulations, RP Battling, and RP Business Administration (in the senior year).

Gaian Economics
The world of Gaia has many focuses of money making and business administration. The Gaian Economics major will study money making policies and how these apply to starting and creating a successful business.
