The Unseelie Court is not just a group of fairies, it's a way of life.
"Unseelie" means unholy. This should give a good idea of the fairies that reside within the Unseelie Court: they are closer to their Demonic kin than Angelic. They hold a bitter grudge against Gaians for the war of ages past, and go out of their way to punish anyone with a cruel heart. However, they are not as mean or nasty to kind Gaians, and they understand that good deeds should be rewarded.
They see the Seelie Court as their kin, and they can see eye-to-eye on some of the more extreme issues of morality. However, whenever there is a gray area, opinions divide and some arguments break out...
