Some people don't know the origins of EPCOT, so here I'm posting just a small fragment of it's history with you. This thred is all about EPCOT's past, so comment and lets get to know the park better!

EPCOT wasn't designed like it is today. At first, EPCOT was a place where people could live in the future, where everything would be dfferent from that time. Walt Disney called it the Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow, or EPCOT for short. It was all planned out and while trying to get the plans finalized, Walt went into the hospital. During his last days, all he would think about was EPCOT, using the ceiling as his map and drawing out where things would go. When Walt died, Roy took control. The government basically said no, since Walt knew what exactly was suppose to go and that it was ahead of its time. So Roy decided to make it into a futuristic park based on Walt's original plan.
