My friend showed me the haloween episode from the new series and the main guy was dressed up as Cap'n Jack. Some of the other characters asked if he was trying to tell them something.

Haha, no way that's crazy!
That's a big up to Torchwood though that Captain Jack is expected to be recognised smile

Oh yes. Being a Limey, I don't know how big Torchwood or Doctor Who is in America, so it came as a suprise. Although now that I think about it, there were also 3 Doctor Who things in The Simpsons. Tom Baker's Doctor just showed up a couple of times and one guy mentioned a Doctor Who marathon.

I dunno. Racist Americans? I have to admit I've only ever heard it once. It's not really much of an insult though. We're basically being mocked for being smart and saving our own lives.

I also heard that Torchwood was the most watched programme on BBC America. I wouldn't doubt it, its fantastic. I also read that Torchwood got more views on a series premiere than any other show on BBC America, or it was on any channel, aww well....its close. ^.^
