We have so many beaches, and each one is very distinct.
Del Mar: I hear the surf is very good.
Torrey Pines/ La Jolla: Nice for a little bit of everything. The beach is the most clean here, and this is the area where you can go kayaking.
Pacific Beach: College area. This is where you go if you want to get the latest fashions, or if you want get smashed and roll around in the sand for a while.
Mission Beach: We have our own theme park. It takes up about a block and has one rickety old roller coaster and an awesome wave machine. It's right on mission beach. The boardwalk is the best here.
Mission BAY: Yup. There's a bay. this is where people take their boats and jet skies and other water toys. Don't go in the water here. I think I saw Blinky from the Simpson's swimming around once.
Ocean Beach: There's a dog beach section. I'd advise not going in the water here. Not just the dogs, but this is much farther south, and Mexico always has spills.
