We do cross-fit 4 days a week and then ruck march the other day. Cross-fit is such a pain in the a** it is tiring and annoying and makes muscles sore that should never be. The best part is we will do it for pt in the morning and be all sore so when we go to our motorpool to work we suck and can't lift anything cause we are to sore....

Does anyone else do cross-fit for pt?

Look who’s laughing now that you’ve wasted,
How many years and you’ve barely even tasted,

I do cross-fit, but it's by choice. Our mandatory PT consists of going to the gym 3 days a week for 1 hour. What we do is up to us.

Anything remotely close to everything you’ve boasted about.
Look who’s crying now.

My command does it once a week but it still sucks because then I'm sore until the next time it comes around. I can't even imagine what it would be like to do it four times a week.

The actual cross-fit regimen is 3 days on, 1 day off, repeat. So it's more like 5-6 days a week, if you do it properly.

Ugh that sounds terrible. We sometimes have to pt after our 12 hour shift, it's worse than being deployed cause at least in Iraq I didn't have s**t to do besides work and pt.

The other morning after work the guy leading our session had us running backwards. I can't do that successfully on a GOOD day, lmao. So doing it after work when I was already exhausted led to me busting my a** in front of everyone. I think I said "********" pretty loud as I started losing my balance. Now my right a** cheek is bruising up a little and is pretty sore. At least it was a good laugh, if not mortifyingly embarrassing. whee

I just really hate the sessions with lots of lunges and squats. I was so sore last week I stopped eating and drinking for 2 days so I wouldn't have to go to the bathroom as often. I need to learn how to piss standing up... cause not eating and drinking really doesn't help the healing process, nor energy levels.

Yeah really on a deployment the only thing to do is the gym, because its to hot and the leadership doesn't want to go out and do PT in the hot sun, which makes it nice.
