In the mochrome night... I've had a bunch of canvas boards laying around for a while, a canvas too, unfortunately it's primed already so I can't do anything weird with it... Well, experimental... Anyways...
What I'm doing right now, is, trying to create my own style, trying to make me different than ever other shlup that's out there. At the moment, I'm attempting to stain the canvas boards a solid single color, blotchy. Which, is easy. I'm using water colors for that, but before I do that, I put a simple picture using ink or graphite or was on the canvas, then do the staining. After the stain drys, I'm going to charcoal draw over it, ink over it and whatever else I feel like trying with it.
I'm being experimental, finding myself art wise. I'm running tests to see what kind of effects water has on different things, like inking pens, regular pens, graphite, led, wax, charcoal, chalk. Fun stuff, small scale experiments. But with varying amounts. It's think in this spot and thin in another heavy here very light there. shading techniques.
And with these ideas, I'm going to be doing biomechanical drawings, of angels and sins. Or anything else that strikes my fancy at the moment. my eyes fade to black

ohhh sounds fun! i LOVE experimenting with things!!! whee not thinking for proper hand eye coordination needed!!! xd xd
well i know this is something that yew are not looking for but i like wetting the paper and sprinkle lots of ink blotches on it and put a piece of plastic over the paper and wait for a week to dry...the effects are brilliant! i forgot what the technique is called...but....it's pointless me explaining it too because it doesn't make sense gonk gonk then why the heckles am I telling yew this?? gonk
garhh i'll looks through my experimentling bit for ya! mrgreen mrgreen if i can find them! xp

oh yea....and erm.....i need yer help on something.....how do i un-oompa-fy my drawings of people and avis?? gonk gonk i've been focusing on that a lot lately but....they always turns out orange!! gonk gonk *snaps brush*

In the mochrome night... stop using so much orange in the skin tones...
skin is made up of many many colors. I usually end up using brown red blue white yellow... And then take whatever the closest color it is, and use that's opposite in the color wheel to darken it. my eyes fade to black

bahh i don'ttt gonk i used grey and a small hint of yellow for one of them xp and the last one (with the broken arm) was brown and yellow...and more brown xd *sobs*

stare gonk crying gahh i should just trying drawing th blue man group instead from now on....
ohh and how is yer experimental thing going on (back to the topic xd ) ink over wax is one of the funnest thing yew can do! whee and if yew sprinkle ink crystals over wet paper or piece of cloth, it looks awesome too! but if the paper is too watery..it goes ghey xd xd and also try sprinkling grains of coffee on wet paper...it takes AGES to dry (because of the stickiness of coffee) but the effects is AWESOME! whee

Only I'd be drawing on the paper after, and I'm only experimenting with that so I know what will happen when i apply it to the canvas. my eyes fade to black

xd ahh darn....lemmi see...how about.....sprinkling/pouring juice on paper? like beetroot or erm...blood oranges? xd
yea but sometimes when yew do stuff on canvas, it turns out different on paper though... confused

one day i wanna get a good camera and get a glass of water and drop milk or something in it and see the milk spread and then taking a picture of that! xd not sure how i can explain that but.... xp but it's gonna look awesome! whee

*nodsnods* my friend did it with ink once and it's sooo pwetty! whee but if yew do it with milk, and darken the background (or the water) of the picture, it look a bit like smoke xd and methinks milk spreads a bit more differnet from food dye but *shrugs* maybe it's the same... confused
