Okay, I got two shots at the same time. Two male nurses sitting beside me, they were like, "Kid, relax." So I got even more nervous, cuz I get more nervous when people tell me to relax. Anyways, I asked them if I could blast my iPod, just to distract myself. So I blasted my iPod, and 3 seconds later I felt something going in my arms. Omaigawsh, it was nasty.
I could feel the needle going in. Then after 2 secs, my arms started going all numb. I couldn't move my arms without them hurting.
A day after, which is now, one of my arms is still sore. :/ All because I was sleeping ON it. Then later on, I took pain killers, I felt better.
So yeah, it still hurts a little.

I had to get my tetness shot the other day, it bothered me for about three to four days, but after two days, it only hurt when I touched it, but it was fine.
at least you didn't wind up like my friend, he had the needle put in him, the person dropped something, so she bent down to pick it up while the needle was still in his arm.

You think needles are bad... try IVs. I had to get 9 different IVs all in one visit to the hospital as well as countless shots. (I was in for pneumonia, and infection in my spine, a kidney stone, and a broken finger all at once.) Shots I actually kinda like. Don't know about anyone else, but when the rubber strap is on I don't feel a thing and I can just watch them stick me and block the feeling from that arm/leg/area. Now IVs... that's different. You have to keep your elbow locked all the time because the tube isn't that flexible and you don't want to do permanent damage to your vein. Plus if the doctor hits a valve and doesn't realize it, your entire arm swells up and your heart goes crazy. Had one guy just keep hammering in to a valve on the back of my hand with the thick IV needle for a full 15 minutes while I'm trying very hard not to kick him, then I got a full blast of potassium through a now ripped valve which burns anyway. Ipods are awesome though. Love programming them almost as much as listening to them smile . Immunizations aren't normally to bad unless your immune system happens to be weakened when you get them and they end up giving you the disease they are trying to prevent. Umm... painkillers. I was on vicodin for about half an hour... most amusing 30 minutes of my life. Spongebob became a comedic genius and I could see the soap opera on the static screen. (Black line number 20 was such a diva.) Aside from that I've used Ibuprofen and mineral ice on the numerous burns I get, but I don't think I've had any other pain meds.
