Bloc Party is a British indie rock band which has been inspired and influenced by bands such as the Cure, Joy Division, Gang of Four and the Strokes. The band was formed at the 1999 Reading Festival by Okereke and Lissack.
To date, the band has released three albums:
Silent Alarm (2005)
A Weekend in the City (2007)
and Intimacy (200 cool .

I got ahold of there new album and honestly wasn't amazingly impressed. In fact, didn't like the album at all. But maybe I shall have to give it a few more listens. Still. I was much more attatched to there old music such as The Marshalls are Dead CD from back in 03. Or Silent Alarm album from 05. Plus I have there Little Thoughts EP as well as there Two More Years one. But it feels as though they are not sticking to there roots what so ever when you take a look at the sounds of then to there music currently. Plus Kele from what I have heard has become quite a d**k since making it big.

But still. I do like there old music all the same. And there Weekend in the City album wasn't too bad. Though I don't listen to it all that often. Still I can't really down there old music since it was at least fun and interesting to me.
