Um, so I thought maybe we should confine our razor and vibrator talk (thanks megu, still got an image) as well as other female-specific topics to one small corner of the guild,. It would probably help us with that whole trying to get more guys in here thing.
I would like to start by saying I miss sex. There it is. You have it. I've had a six month dry spell with still more than 30 days to go. I look forward to seeing my man more than I could possibly say.

Maybe we should send you that razor Megu was talking about.
Personally, I hate the side effects of the birth control pill. I can no longer wear my preferred under wire free bras. As a result, I became addicted to the expensive product of La Senza.

Its a little harder to go without AFTER you "haven't" gone without.
I don't want the razor, thank you. Besides, I can't seem to take care of myself if you catch my drift.
I'm on the shot. It killed my sex drive in the beginning. I mean shot between the eyes, dead. But after I got acclimated it came back with a vengence. I did gain a bit of weight on the shot but I lost it all again. I just like it cuz I don't have a period, which mean no PMS.

Depoprivera (sp?) Its a shot in the upper arm or "hip" every three months. Most of the time it completely eliminates the cycle. Its pretty safe and the biggest side effect is weight gain, but you can manage that pretty easily once you get the hang of it. I love my shot.

I hate needles. They freak me out. And if I didn't have the flow, I'd panic and think I were pregnant.

I hated needles too, but its not so bad, and its less to have to remember. Plus the patch give me a rash and I can't swallow pills easily.
As for the flow, its pretty much just that effective that you don't have to think about it. and I still do the safe things anyway

don't worry megu, you're not the only one here who's gone entirely without, me and my almost 21 years hasn't had any sex either I am on birth control pills, even though I'm not even in a relationship, but its because of regulation, my cycles were killer, made me double over in pain, and I ended up getting sick about once a month because of it. Since I started taking birth control my mood swings have almost completely gone away too, used to be you could tell when it was that time of the month, I was a complete b***h to everyone, now its hard to tell unless I actually say something as for the whole shot thing, I heard that one of the possible side effects of it was blood clotting, I don't particularly want to risk getting blood clots, thanks but no thanks

Yeah, its a risk, a very small one. I'm anemic, so my personal risk is even way lower.

gonk I am scared of needles I don't care how small or thin they are THEY FREAK ME OUT
they put me on an IV when they removed my wisdom teeth I was freaking out when they put me under and woke up hyperventilating it was embarrassing
that dentist wasn't all that sympathetic stare
I can't swallow pills for the life of me but I'm able to at least swallow the little b. pills
when I'm stuck having to swallow larger meds (amoxocillin for one) I either cut them in half or try to swallow it whole by filling my mouth with water, shoving the pill in, and then drinking more water to force it down sometimes it works and sometimes I choke and get water everywhere gonk

The needle is kind of big.
I don't do IV's well either. I have weird veins. I had to learn to be very patient with nurses despite hating needles. When I had my wisdom teeth out they found out that I'm one of the like 1/1000 people who reacts strangely. I woke up crying and hypervenilating and completely out of my mind. It wore off pretty soon, but still sucked. This was all after it took nine tries to get the needle to go in in the first place.
I crush pills or empty capsules and put them on a smoothy or in a salad or something like that.

hehe, last time they had to draw blood for testing, I had to go to the hospital, because the tech at the doctor's office couldn't get the vein, even after poking me like 3 times, its kinda small, and liked to jump around on me while he was trying to get it...

One time I had to have blood drawn and it tooke the two nurses six tries. Then my blood clotted in the tube and they told me I would have to come back the next day cuz neither one of them would stick me again.
