The hair color in my bangs is already fading, which I don't understand. Maybe because I straighten my hair so the color fades?

Ya know what?
There is a company that makes the worst permanent hair dye, it fades out really fast. (I think they sell it at Hot Topic)
I'll ask my cousin what kind she uses.

She uses Special Effects
Manic Panic washes out really fast and she says to never use Color Fiend.
Apparently it dyed her hair every color but purple XD

Heat shouldn't do anything to the colour. Odds are it's the shampoo you're using. It also could be the brand of colour you bought- it could either be cheap quality, or semi-permanent.

I've been using Color Fiend. I've heard different theories, and it depends on the color, because I've heard people who use blues and purples have the hardest time.
I'm hoping the red dye I'm using now will last much longer. xD

O.o; Y'all dye your hair unnatural colors? Haha, and I thought it was weird that people dyed them real-life hair colors. xD I had a step mother that used to force me to dye my hair blonde... My biological mother for a time also liked me better blonde, but I'm fine with her not liking me now, so psh, I'm stayin' a natural brown head. xD Good luck with you hair dye stuff. =3
