-GambinoWrestling.com is sad to announce that legendary wrestler Rick Shaddock, one of two men who have been with the GWA in it's humble beginings of the GEWE, has decided to dot his I's and cross his T's as far as wrestling is concerned. While he gave no official reason for his retirnment, there is a cloud of speculation raning from troubles in his personal life to his declining physical health. Whatever the case, it will truly be sad to see the patriarch of the GWA leave us once and for all.
-Managment has decreed that the next show shall be a tribute to Rick Shaddock, entitled "Solumn Sorrow". It shall be a stand-alone show consisting largely of singles matches booked for the sake of pure competition, an aspect of wrestling Rocker always felt was never promoted as much as it should have been.
-Several names have requested to appear for the show, including the recently semi-retired Bryan Kutterman and a returning Tai Nitro Tolium.
-Several names, however, will NOT be present in active competition for the show due to injuries incurred at the 1st Anniversary Show; such as Steve Twist, Killa Kal, Darson Grays, Roy Chambers, and Jaice Wilds. However, Steve Twist and Darson Grays have promised to make their presence felt at Solumn Sorrow nonetheless.

This may be one of the biggest GWA matches to date! Two qualifying matches have been announced for the next show: -Riona Langly vs Ice -Dante Cabrell vs Killa Kal

-AoA management has finally decided to announce the "Indy Pride" match that will take place at an upcoming show. Here are the details for the big match.
-Indy Pride Rules: Six men in the match, with two men wrestling in the ring with the rest on the apron. You can tag in and out of the match only by shaking hands with whoever you are tagging in. Once four men have been eliminated, a singles match ensues under 2/3 Falls rules.
-So far entered into this match are Ice and Killa Kal, with four more competitors to be announced.
-Through some twisted drug deal complete with Columbians the GWA has acquired the so-called talents of one Austin Azure for an undisclosed amount of money and shows. When asked to comment on this situation GWA Owner Steve Twist said, "Man, ******** that guy." GWA Co-Owner Killa Kal also added, "Austin who? That guy I beat in TOG Two is still alive? I dunno what that Smurf thinks he's going to accomplish besides bowing down to the greatest faction in the universe, the AoA."
GWA Openweight Champion Revision refused to comment on the situation, despite having the closest relationship to the former leader of Empty Promises.

- Ice has withdrawn from the Indy Pride match in order to face Darson Grays in the semi-ME of the next show.
- Due to this extra spot, GWA Openweight Champion Revision has stepped in to replace Ice. The other four competitors, who had already been decided, are as follows: Sparco, Danny Daemon, Alex Lords, and Austin Azure.
- Although unofficial as of this moment, Revision has stated that the winner of the Indy Pride Match will become GWA Openweight Champion as he is placing his belt on the line for this contest. Revision also added that there is no way he'll be losing so even if it is declared official he'll still be walking out as Openweight Champion.
- When informed about the confidence of his former partner, the longest reigning BTWF Television Champion Austin Azure had this to say:
"It's good to see that Revision's Openweight Title reign will be just as worthless as he was to Empty Promises and as he still is to the Assholes of Armani or whatever they're called. Because after the GWA fans have screamed my name almost as loudly as their girlfriends, at least the five that have them, I'll be walking out of Empty Pride as the new GWA Openweight Champion. And you better use that ******** name for the show Twist!"

The higher-ups in the GWA have a few big announcements to make.
-A new trophy solely for the lower card has been created. It will be known as the Inaugural Guardian of the Threshold Trophy. This trophy will help improve the GWA's lower card talent and prepare them for the other two titles.
-Matches for the IGTT will be decided by promo's. Whoever writes the better promo, will win the match. Also, the wrestler that carries the trophy MUST have the match finished unless they aren't notified beforehand. You don't have to write it alone, but if the match isn't finished, and it's not because of your opponent, then you will automatically be stripped of the title. Also, the trophy WILL be defended EVERY show. Details on when a match will be booked to decide the champ, will be revealed soon.
-At the next show, Cody Bogard will face Revision one on one for the Openweight Championship.
-The GWA has received a groundbreaking tape with footage that will be shown on www.gwa.com in upcoming weeks.
