Soo, AkiCon was a little over a week ago. I spent the whole weekend there, and quite enjoyed the experience, so much to the point that I'll say it was the best con I've ever been to... sooo...
To the others who went, what did you think of it?
I'd have to say the highlights had to be the dating game, running into an old friend of mine, joining in on the yaoi paddle circle, running into Vic Mignogna everywhere I went, meeting two really awesome people, and... I won the AMV contest. sweatdrop
It was... a very good convention.
By the way, I was there cosplaying as Girlycard from Hellsing. http://Rip-Van-Suni.deviantart.com/art/A-sample-of-what-s-to-come-103071954

It would've been better for me if I hadn't of gotten there seriously late on the only day that I got to attend... got lost trying to find the hotel. xd
I really loved the entrances to the rooms in how they had those awesome torii gates; very clever. And the "Manga Kissaten" room was cool (especially with how its logo was clearly a bad pun on the Starbucks logo).
Oh, and my friend Ann having her fiance propose to her by the fountain at the front doors (with the two of them dressed as Temari and Shikamaru from Naruto), that was truly epic... heart

I just submitted a form to become a volunteer for AkiCon. It sounds really good. C:
