I might get my belly button pierced since i'm almost 17, and have told my mother since the age of 6 that i've wanted one.
Any tips?
Such as what rings are good?
Should I use metal, or bio plast?
Which "style" is best for everyday wear?
Why is one material "better" than the other for naval piercings?
twisted Closed, since i've already gotten it done. Thank you so much for all your help guys biggrin

I'm sure you've already gotten your belly button pierced, but I wanted to answer these anyway...=D
ALWAYS pierce with metal. Surgical steel or titanium is preferred, as they can be sterilized more easily. Any kind of plastic has the potential to fuse with your skin during the healing process, which can be dangerous and VERY painful to remove.
I personally enjoy having a ring for everyday wear, but bar bells seldom get in the way too as long as they don't have dangling things.

I believe CBRs are good for jewelry, we're in the same spot so I'm not that experienced xD
