
Geneticatta was ambling along the alley taking it as a shortcut home, and wondering if any of her old friends were still around. She tried to push the thought from her mind, after all she had given up the naughty behavior they all favored. Still one couldn't help but miss friends, even lousy ones since that was the only kind she had. Except for her one friend, but Geneticatta saw her neighbor as more of a maternal figure then a buddy.
She stopped and gave a long content stretch allowing the rays of the setting sun to catch in her fur. Her humans would be wondering where she had gone off to this time, but they would be undoubtedly gratified she hadn't left anything broken in her absence.
