Hey i just got retail a few days ago and for some odd reason i cant connect and im sure my account is active : can anyone tell me whats going on?
its makein me wanna go back to private servers >>

That's happened to my friend before. WoW is just being dumb when that happens.

sometimes the private servers need a piece of code in one of the configuration files to direct the client to those servers (and away from the public ones). I forget which file it is that's commonly changed, but that might be it (go search on the internet or the problem).

Otherwise uninstall and reinstall is my only other suggestion.
