Its come to my attention (awhile ago) That this guild is beginning to devour itself. Now Im speaking to EVERYONE That is Xion, Posion, Irage, Devine and myself.
Now i think the reason for this is because we lack a group activity or goal. That being said, I have drafted a sort of GCP constitution for all of us to discuss, agree to, or reform so that it fits the needs of all the people in this guild.
I hope that we can come together as comrades and not as angry teenagers whom get offended when you get your opinion attacked. You all hold a political belief that Society frowns upon, you all must be prepared to face these criticisms like intellectuals. Using the information and experiences you've collected through your studies to combat the critics. The movement will not take off if you cannot learn to do this. As they say "a house divided cant stand"
Here is the GCP constitution, i want all of you to read it thoroughly, then suggest something you feel needs to be added or taken away. Once the reforms have been made, we will have a vote to adopt the new Constitution and go from there.
Article I
1.) This guild is declared to be: The Gaian Communist Party.
2.) This guild is organized on the basis of unifying like-minds, educating the "gaian masses" and strengthening party ideology.
Article II
1.) Unifying like-minds to the GCP is the first and most important task of the GCP and its Members.
2.) Those permitted to join the GCP must fall under the Following categories.
a.) Affiliates themselves under the banner of Marxism, Marxist-Leninism, Maoism (MLM), Stalinism, Trotskyism, Anarcho-Communism, Christian Communism, Social Democracy, Socialism, Materialism, and or Neo-Communism.
b.) Takes sincere interest in learning of communist ideology and will, once educated, promote and support the GCP program.
Article III
1.) All Reforms, Ideas, Legislature, Education, and Installments on guild policy or otherwise are to be strictly democratic.
2.)When a decision is reached on an idea to be passed it will be the obligation of the entirety of the guild to follow through with the decision made.
3.) a Chairperson must be elected every month.
a.) The Chairperson's only power is finalize or veto the invitation of a new member into the guild.
b.) The person running for Chairperson is able to serve as many terms as he or she chooses so long as they are elected.
c.) the Chairperson's only duty is to represent and speak on the behalf of the GCP outside the guild forum I.E. any of the Discussion forums, towns, or other guild forums.
4.) Anyone is able to to post a suggestion for a new policy to be voted on and discussed.

I like it, but. Question. Without The Leninator! who is going to give the chairperson the power to accept people into the guild? In fact.. who's BEEN accepting people? I saw some newbies didn't I?

but thats besides the point, not much we can do about it. The guild needs new leadership. And we need to start by making better this constitution.

Glad what we talked about is finally out there. I think the goals need to be simplified like I mentioned in the first bit: "Inform, Support, Advance". Inform and educate interested parties, support Communists and the spread of Communism, advance unify and evolve the ideologies. That being said I think we need to start over with a fresh guild. I was only given minor mod powers which barely work and most of the people in charge are gone. Furthermore, I think we need to expand beyond just Gaia Online as well and create a site, use IRC, create a social network that is broad and this would be just a branch. Work with other similar sites. I created a prototype (read: just a basic sketch of my idea)out of boredom of such a site, where essays explaining the various ideologies plus ideological essays modern and classical can be stored. We could also have a small news feed. That would be Inform. Support would involve social networks (Gaia included), providing vast amounts of research for use in debate, a strong debate team (myself of course not included), and protest and direct action support. Perhaps minor fundraising for various causes and organization, etc. Advance would basically consist of a discussion forum open only to those within the accepted ideologies (or ones that are similar enough--ie no ******** dictatorship-wanters...I'm completely against any of that being accepted myself but that's to decide later and democratically) where the goal is to be HIGHLY CRITICAL of not only our own idealogies and ideals but classical ones and to work together to unify and strengthen them. This, I feel, is the most important. Religious and blind devotion to the Communist ideals would be bad, mmkay? We've got to question them and hammer away at them a lot so we can see where the cracks form. Think of it like three levels for someone new to Communism--get educated, get in action, and strengthen the ideals. I think those allowed in should include those with non-authoritarian ideals and while I'm not familiar with Stalinism itself that seems like it would fall under that? Should be voted on anyways. But other than that looks fine to me.

I am in favor of creating a new guild. It would give us all mod powers.
On the matter of membership.
It is okay to have the Religious and blind followers of communism in a guild. It's good because they are willing to listen to communist ideology.
And on Stalinism.
From what i know, Stalinism is the belief that Socialism needs to be strengthened within a country before the revolution is spread. I believe it is to ensure economic stability, however in a country like the U.S. Stalinism (if i defined it correctly) isnt actually necessary.
We should vote on this, Who among us feels that we should create a new guild?

I only meant not allow blind followers into the bit where we attempt to advance the ideology because they are opposed to any criticism of Communist ideals, the old thinkers, and would be opposed to revitalizing and evolving these ideals. Not for the entire guild itself.

I think we should all chip in. Ill Make the guild we just need a majority of us to agree on this. were basically waiting for Divine and Irage, but its possible irage has left us for good, because he made just made his own guild.
