Unreleased to the Gaian masses, but recorded here for you, the members of G Corp.
Nothing posted to this thread can be repeated anywhere else inside of Gaia or out, under penalty of putting your account at risk.
Spoiler warning. This thread is made purely of spoilers, and thus made purely of win. If you do not wish to read these things, then why are you here?
Plot holes. Gaia has always had them. Today, we begin to fill them.
All of them.
April 1st, 2006 - LabTechX Vanished in a mass explosion that took a chunk out of Barton Cliffs, and split Gambino and Gino back into their own bodies. What happened to X? I'll tell you. He drifted to the bottom of the sea. He went all the way to the seafloor, and remained there. Nobody searched for him. Nobody seemed to care. This weighted down on him, but the will to live carried on. It carried on in vengeance. X created his own lab beneath the waters. A lab of truly diabolical proportions. Within this undersea lab, he created NeXuS Corp. The Purpose and aim of this all? Power. True power.
But to understand what all of this means, we must take a step backward. How far backward? How about the True Identity of LabTechX.
Gambino sought a true heir to his legacy. His first natural option should have been Gino, but Gino was not worthy in his eyes. He used G Corp, which was up to that time a secret organization, and tasked them to make Gino more like Gambino. It wasn't enough though, and X was born. Born isn't quite the right word though, as LabTechX is a clone of Johnny K. Gambino. That's right, X isn't anyone else in Gaia, but a clone of the man who was at the head of this all. He was given the designation X, and masked to keep this secret from the public eye. Should Gambino not live forever, and should Gino never be worthy, X would become the new Gambino.
The exact workings of some of these things are yet to be revealed, but this is core information we have sought for years now.
Want me to patch up another hole for you?
Labtech123, who was also assumed dead by many, has of course escaped it all, and he still lives on as well.
Where is he now, what is he doing? He works for X. That is all that I know at this time.
There will be a second meeting on Saturday, and the information shall be posted in the Spoiler Meeting thread as I am updated on it all, so watch there if you want to learn more first hand. Otherwise, This thread will be updated from time to time as I am able, and when all of this is said and done I will be making an official spoiler announcement thread within the Battle Forums.
G Corp rises up to spread rings, and help the Average Gaian help in this battle versus the Animated. NeXuS Corp fights us, and will do anything to stop us from reaching our goals. There is a great battle ahead, and I hope to see you all there when I face The clone of Gambino.

And I'll break their kneecaps.
A point of clarification... rings are not how we want to fight the animated. But now, we have no choice.
The rings didn't just appear when the animated did by coincidence. The rings were harvested by NeXuS Corp. from the animated. By wearing these rings and fighting the animated, we are only attracting more animated. We have been played for fools, pawns in X's scheme for total militant dominion over Gaia.
The animated, too. The animated are no more evil than any one of us, or any living thing on Gaia. Have you met the Wish Tree? I submit it as proof of this. But they take on a bit of our society, mimicking our own evils. X himself might be encouraging this.
The point is, the more we fight the animated, the more they appear. But if we stop fighting now, they will keep attacking and eventually destroy us. There is no way out of this...
... that we yet know of. The strongest of Barton - Leon, Kin, Agatha and Logan - have acknowledge that they alone cannot win this. Which is why their next goal is to reestablish contact with the other three towns... specifically, "the science types", meaning Edmund and G Corp.

Aye, I didn't get a chance to write it all down last night, but perhaps what is down was good enough for when I wrote it.
In the end, it will be G Corp vs. NeXuS Corp, and the average gaian is pitted in the middle of the battle. X aims to use the population in his favor, and thus far, he is well achieving that goal.
If only there were some way to open his heart...

He tried to take over Gaia! With an army of animated mecha lobster things!
He doesn't need a lover, he needs a psychologist! I don't think he can even be trusted with a woman at this point.
And besides that, I'm already head over heels for someone else, and I'm not the sort of woman who falls for just anyone.
So, no. I'm not moving to the Sealab. If he tried to make me, I'd just walk away. I can breathe underwater now, you know.

There is a such thing as a point of no return for some people.
And as such, after its been stated how he felt for being left alone, he would surely assume anything beyond that to be pity, and would not at all be susceptible to it.
Much complicated it is, though, in reality, its not. It's become a fight now, and we may all have to win before words can really be exchanged.

Pie: Frank appears twice after the train
[Kegan]: No, I mean, he is obviously important, I just have hunches.
Pie: First time as G Corp Labtech 123.
Pie: That name should ring bells

Pie: He doesn't work for G Corp anymore.

Pie: He works for X's new organization, NeXuS Corp.

Clone Yami: So X is still alive also?
Pie: Yes.
[Kegan]: Obviously
Pie: No one was killed in the explosion on the cliffs.
Clone Yami: Ok.
[Kegan]: Don't you know the whole set of anime cliches?
Pie: It was "surprisingly nonlethal"
darth_vader2: he he he...
Pie: It was an amazing burst of energy, but not the kind that could harm a fly.
Pie: ... but it did harm something else.
Clone Yami: And yet damage the ground?
Pie sips her cocoa.
darth_vader2: XD

Pie: Yeah. The ground. More specifically, the planet.
[Kegan]: gaia!
Pie: And with it, the biosphere.
darth_vader2: ...
Clone Yami: Biosphere?
Pie: The energy of life resonating within the planet and all of us.
[Kegan]: whoah
LabTechMK daydreams about swimming in the lifestream

darth_vader2: Mako poisoning?

Pie: Anyway... that crack is the source of the animated. The oldest animated are on the sea floor around the crack..
[Kegan]: lol
Clone Yami: And then it spreaded like a disease. I am guessing
Pie: Not really, Yami.
Pie: It's a small wound to the planet, but nothing dangerous.
Pie: ... the problem is, it's growing.
[Kegan]: the rack.
Clone Yami: How?
[Kegan]: crack*
Pie: X is making it grow.

[Kegan]: biggrin
Clone Yami: Didn't he try to save us?
Pie: Once, yes.
Pie: He used to be completely loyal to Gambino and the people of Gaia.
Clone Yami: But what?
[Kegan]: Sudden change of heart?
Pie: ... but then Gambino rejected him, didn't even bother to look and see if he was still alive after the explosion.
[Kegan]: lolz
darth_vader2: ...
Clone Yami: And condemed Gaia with Gambino>
Pie: So he turned fully to his own goals. Power. Not financial power, military power.
Pie: He wanted to take over Gaia.
Clone Yami: And X nevr foresaw that. Right?
Pie: NeXuS Corp gave them out to Gaians.
Pie: No, X did it on purpose.
Pie: See, these rings use the same energy that brings Animated to live, G'hi.
Pie: *life
Clone Yami: Did he plan to over throw G-Corp.?
Pie: He handed the rings out to Gaians, knowing the rings would attract the animated.
Pie: And as the rings were used against the Animated, and more G'hi energy was forced to surface, the crack in the biosphere grew wider.
Clone Yami: But it sayed that G-Corp handed them out.
Pie: We are stuck in a bad cycle here. The more we fight the animated, the more wil appear.
LabTechMK: NeXuS Corp operates under a false disguise
Pie: That's a lie. 123 masqueraded as a G Corp Labtech in the Aqueduct, didn't he?
darth_vader2: ...Eventually we'll be swimming in them.
Clone Yami: So he plans on Gaians using the rings, then creating the crack bigger.
Wurp: swimming in the animated sea
Pie: Yes. We need a more permanent solution. In future expansions, we'll be speaking to G Corp and Edmund about that.
Clone Yami: And then plame G-Corp for the Animated?
darth_vader2: BTW, did you mention the second time we see frank?
Clone Yami: blame*
Pie: Yes, down in the NeXuS Sea Lab
Pie: No, Yami
darth_vader2: Ah.
Pie: G-Corp was a cover for handing out the rings
darth_vader2: I only rememered the one about him being Labtech 123...
darth_vader2: okey.
Pie: The plan was to force open the crack in the biosphere and use the G'hi to animate the endboss, a giant mecha.
Pie: Then breed that, make an army, and conquer all of Gaia.
Pie: Make sense?
Clone Yami: And if he could breed it fast enough, then the ones taken down could be rebuilt faster?
Wurp: pretty much
darth_vader2: Crystal clear.
Pie: I guess so.
Pie: In the plot, the first one gets taken down
Pie: It blows up spectacularly. With X in the cockpit, but...
Pie: ... knowing him, he probably teleported out and will be seen again.
Clone Yami: Null Crystals. How did they appear?
Pie: That isn't explained yet.
LabTechMK: You ever just get this feeling that Gambino will have to call upon the Zurg for aid? >.>
Pie: All we know is that they cancel G'hi.
darth_vader2: X...How odd... when you have conflicted images of him handing out vials, and then of him deranged inside an animated mecha...
Pie: That's why they repel the animated, and why they cancel out the power of our rings enough that we can take them off and put them on.
Pie: Heh. You haven't asked who X is yet.
Clone Yami: Anything about the Gate with "Concerned Citizen"?
Pie: Not yet. We're expecting that in a future expansion.
Pie: We're sure that we're not done there yet.
Pie: I mean... it has the START of a quest chain like other areas, but no badge.
Clone Yami: So for now it is just about how the Animated came to be?
Pie: Pretty much. The explosion on the cliff cracked the biosphere, letting out G'hi energy, literally life energy - enough that the Zurg could see it from space.
Pie: That energy went into inanimate objects. X found them, and the crack, and went to work.
Clone Yami: Why didn't X just wait till he had a strong enough amry and take over
Pie: He was about to do that and then we showed up.
Pie: We stopped him before he could succeed, really.
LabTechMK: He needed our help to gather the energy needed, yes?
Clone Yami: How did we show up?
Pie: Yeah. Without us fighting, he wouldn't have been able to do anything - OMG IT'S DRINKY
LabTechMK: I have a question that I failed to ask at the previous meeting
Pie: That was so awesome.
Pie: Yes?
LabTechMK: Is DRKNRGY at all tied in with the Animated?
Pie: We're not sure, but we think there must be SOME connection
Clone Yami: What is that?
LabTechMK: Woo, fire time
darth_vader2: Wowz.
LabTechMK: My thoughts as well. Must continue to research this
Wurp: toasted Pie
Techie Creek: DRKNRGY was that stuff that transformed...Flarn, right?
Pie: Well, think about it. DRKNRGY and fighting, becoming a problem when the Zurg shows up - and X ENCOURAGING us to fight?
LabTechMK: Yes
Clone Yami: Got any hot dogs?
Pie: We think DRKNRGY is either a form of G'hi or Null.
LabTechMK: Perhaps Flarn is an animated flesh?
Pie: We've been thinking about it, and G'hi =/= good, and Null =/= bad.
Clone Yami: Is there a chance that we could see zombies made of the animated?
Pie: It's more that G'hi is life, and Null is death. Either could be considered good or bad, they're just parts of the world
Pie: It's quite likely. Actually, I wondered if the G-virus wasn't made from something extracted from the Biosphere, unknowingly
darth_vader2: I was about to ask a question to that extent...
Pie: I mean, Green and Teal seem to be the colors of both.
LabTechMK: It may well have been, we are missing the original formula
Clone Yami: Wasn't the G-Virus made before the "boom"?
Pie: Yeah, it was.
Pie: Which is why I say unknowingly.
LabTechMK loves the fire
Pie: Pure G'hi wasn't harvested directly until after.
Pie: But the Biosphere has always been there.
Pie: It's our lifestream.
darth_vader2: .... Cloud.
Pie: G-Corp might have tapped into a form of it before they realized it.
LabTechMK: The Null Chamber is our ticket to the surface, our escaping Death
Pie: Pretty much.
LabTechMK: You know, I bet that even explains X. He may have his own
Pie: Maybe.

Clone Yami: Ok but how is it that only G'hi harms the Animated?
Pie: So. Speaking of, are you at all curious about who X IS?
Pie: That's hard to say.
LabTechMK: and crap, I got pushed out of the flame by typing too fast. >.o

Pie: They're not flesh like we are.
Clone Yami: Yeah I am curious.
Pie: They don't have organs or systems, they're just dolls with lifeforce.
Pie: Which makes them like weird animals.
Pie: Anyway. X.

Pie: To understand what X is, you must first think about who Johnny is.
Pie: Johnny, the richest Gaian, the man who had everything.
Pie: ... almost everything.
Clone Yami: And he is either really lucky or immortal.

Pie: He's lucky. He knows it. The one thing he does not have is immortality. That has been his driving goal from the start.
Pie: And if HE can not live forever, he wants an heir who can allow him to live on in spirit.

darth_vader2: Darn. That old fanfic i wrote was so far off. I had an awesome clone of GINO
Pie: X was cloned from Johnny Gambino, inherited his briliant mind, was taught everything about EVERYTHING at G Corp.
darth_vader2: And I don't think anything went wrong...
Clone Yami: That is what went wrong.
Pie: The problem was that X acted on his own, particularly when Gambino got... unstable.
Clone Yami: So no master to control him, he became another Gambino.
Pie: I think - I don't think it was said directly, but - I think X arranged to have Zhivago shoot Gambino.
Pie: Gambino injected himself with the G Virus and was going insane.
Pie: To "kill" him was the only way to release it, save him from himself.
Wurp: I want the G virus
Clone Yami: But he ended up disappearing and regaining his normal self.
Pie: And then, when Johnny and Gino merged, and it got unstable, he injected a catalyst to separate them...
Pie: He was completely loyal to them.
darth_vader2: But Gambino had Chosen Gino now?
Pie: And he always acted like a true Gambino - he admits he stole from Johnny to fund NeXuS...
Pie: Yes. Johnny chose Gino over X.
Pie: X was an expendable clone...
Clone Yami: But Johnny never saw that X was becoming himself?
Pie: Nope.
Pie: Gambino's kind of blind in a way.
[Kegan]: Indeed
Pie: And... a lot of this has always been his fault.
Pie: When the explosion took out the land, the cliffs...
Pie: Gambino didn't even bother looking for X. He just left him for dead. "Good riddance."
[Kegan]: LOL!
LabTechMK: Fire bad
[Kegan]: lulz
Clone Yami: Kegan don't go towards the light.
Pie: So. Yeah. That's the big secret of X.
Pie: Any other questions?
[Kegan]: I caught most of that.
Clone Yami: Can't think of any. Yet
Pie: That's most of what we know anyway.
Pie: The big things revealed here... what made the animated and the rings, and who is X.
LabTechMK: Besides Gambino and Edmund, do we know anyone in charge of teh new facility as far as G Corp goes?
Pie: No idea.
LabTechMK: Hehe, good.
darth_vader2: lol
Pie: I'm hoping we at least get the recipes for the hats >_

Clone Yami: Why did Frank help us on the Train and how did he disappear from it?
darth_vader2: Keep forgetting to his enter...
Pie: A way of handing out the rings, I think. How he disappeared, beats me. Slipped out the back?
Pie: ... wait, no, he never handed out a single ring...
Pie: Yeah I have no clue. D:
darth_vader2: Ugh.
Clone Yami: But in the Manga it showed a ring on the ground near them?
LabTechMK: Perhaps it was actually Frank who controlled the train and allowed it to stop where it did
Pie: Maybe he was headed to Barton to give out those ring bags? *shrug*
darth_vader2: At that point, he's alot like Trask Ulgo in KotOR.
Pie: Me, I wonder if the train itself wasn't actually Animated.
darth_vader2: Just there to show you how to get to the actually game...
Pie: Or part of it.
LabTechMK: Very well possible
Pie: Like a test for the mecha.
LabTechMK: That explains why the wiring and brakes did nothing

Clone Yami: And X wanted Frank on there to make sure nothing went wrong.

oddguy: it's probably less cold than your northern hemisphere winters, although i have no idea what those are like.
LabTechMK: I took a Screenie, editing in Photoshop if I can figure out what to add
