GREAT!!!
I loved it! Great cast, very well done. They left a few things out that I would have like to have seen in the movie, and the romance was played out to quickly, but they only had two hours to get it all in. I was very please with the way casting panned out. Robert Pattison makes a wonderful Edward. The akwardness of dating a vampire was played out really heavily, but it will pull together well when New Moon comes out. Alice was perfect!! She needed to dye her hair though. Rosalie is the b***h she's supposed to be. Esme doesn't get much screen time, but you can tell she's well done just from her line to Rosalie in the kitchen. Carlise looks like he's in pain whenever violence is involved. It's just so well cast! I was even impressed with Bella, and origanally, I wasn't very happy with their casting choices.
To those who are doubtful of the movie, it is true, it is no where near as good as the books, but it is so good!!!! Definantly worth seeing.

SPOILER
Overall: I thought it was good and it had that unique Independent film vibe to it which I like. However, it did move faster then I thought it would through the plot so I'm definitely going to see it again so I can fully wrap my head around it and gain a more complete opinion of the movie.
Ups: The casting was good, I liked how they did sparkly Edward because it looked more real...I think if they had done anything different then it just would have looked lame. It was actually quite funny too which was nice.
Downs: One thing that did bug me a bit was Edward's character, Rob was good but the script messed up the character a little. I think there was a few spots where he was little too mean or not quite smooth enough compared to the Edward in the book.

i've learned very well from my experience with harry potter that movies will disappoint if you let them. twilight the movie cut out a lot, added new things, and had interesting interpretations of the characters.
but i'm not going to let myself focus on the wrongs.
it was FABULOUS.
i need to see it again. just because i KNOW i missed out on a lot cause i was flipping out about other things.
midnight showings are amazing because you are with a theater full of people who love something just about as much as you do. squealing and laughins and awwing at all the right parts....
HOLY SCHLOMBOLY.
best line: "you know that guy who looks like he's always in pain? that's jasper."

The only "major" problem I had was the special effects, the running just looked a little too fake for me and when he climbed the tree they should have had him look like he was at least gripping it vs. pulling a Spiderman.(if you don't get that I'm sorry)
Over all the story was very good and I feel the over all right impression was left.

I saw the movie this morning and I loved it! Even my boyfriend who just went for me said he really liked it also. I think my favorite scene was the baseball scene-I think that was pretty cool. I think I might go see it again tomorrow or Sunday.

I just saw the movie today aswell, but not a midnight showing cuz I had a paper due today =/ It was AMAZING!!! I felt like it could have been longer though... They should have added more to the hospital scene and more to the prom scene. My favorite part was at prom when Bella was talking to Jacob (hate him btw) and Edward got all protective of her <333 So cute! But no one can be as good as the book Edward, I've got to say, Robert Patterson came very close... I love how they zoomed in on his golden eyes when he first came back... That made me squeal, the guy I went with just rolled his eyes lol I did that alot... haha
I aswell would go see that again so I can wrap my head around it better... My other friend wants to see it so I might go with him soon. I give it 5/5 stars!!!

My boyfriend asked off for it too and he loved it more then he expected too also. The movie was freaking awesome. Like others were sayin and I agree a lot was left out and the plot did move to fast but you know what i dont care. I loved the movie and i could watch it over and over and never get sick of it

I've seen it twice! I went at 3 yesterday out of town and then again at 9:30 in my town and I'm about to go see it again tonight. Did anyone notice when Stephenie Meyer showed up in a cameo role? My best friend saw her and so did I did anyone else notice her? biggrin

I wanted to go to the midnight showing, but I couldn't! crying If they make a New Moon movie, I will defiantly go and see it at midnight on the night it comes out. <3
The movie was awesome! It was better than I expected it to be 'cuz usually the movies aren't nearly as good as the books.
Of coarse the books were better, but the movie was still awesome.
There were so many things that I thought were funny though. Which I was glad about 'cuz I love to laugh.
I didn't like they guy they picked to play Edward, tho. >< I mean I'm not an Edward fangirl, but isn't Edward suppose to be really hot?
I hope they make a movie out of New Moon! A whole movie with Jacob in it. <3 4laugh -hides from all the Edward fangirls-
My friend said her brother went to see the movie with her and he liked it so much, he went home and read New Moon in one night, and now he wants to read Eclipse.

I loved it heart heart heart It was awesome!! - I noticed Stephenie Meyer as well! - I absolutley loved the baseball scene! It was one of my favorite ones! - I love the line about Jasper! Another part I love is when Esme goes, "Do you think she'll like Italian?" And Emmett goes, "The name Bella is Italian" xd - There were only a few parts that I didn't like: 1) THEY CUT OUT THE WHOLE STORY TELLING WITH JACOB!!! crying (Huge Jacob fan here) 2) It didn't really flow very good. I mean, they did cover what happened in the book, but it seemed a little choppy to me. 3) They didn't develop much with Bella and Edward's relationship. It seemed like they just fell in love all of a sudden. - @animefreak120- I KNOW!! A WHOLE MOVIE WITH JACOB!! YAY! whee
