Playable Characters:

The March Hare
The Mad Hatter {Taken--Tuxedomask}
The Caterpillar {Taken--Pilotslover}
TweedleDee / TweedleDum{Taken--Kalinin}
The Cheshire Cat {Taken--Nani}
The Cards

NPC
:
The Queen of Hearts
The White Rabbit
The King of Hearts

Locations:

Small town, a very old place. So old, in fact, that businesses there are dying and the town is beginning to shrink and migrate to the big cities. But there are numerous relics there. Old houses from the 1800’s, old-style factories (or what’s left of them), and the abandoned vaudeville theater on the lake—a favorite spot for ghost hunters, thrill seekers, and potheads. But, either way, there is something else there that can’t quite be explained…like the strange, pale person in the outlandish clothes that plays the piano all night, but disappears as soon as you enter the room. Who are they?

Well, they are the White Rabbit.

You see, the Queen of Hearts has gotten tired of abusing her husband and killing off her Cards deck by deck—and she’s decimated most of the population of her Wonderland forest dwelling. She needs fresh meat, and quite literally so—but she needs ways to get to it. And, with the help of some mirrors and a poor white rabbit, she has found one.

The sound of a piano lures people into the vaudeville theatre, right up to the stage—right up to the mirrored backdrop. In such a Between, anything can happen. A little pixie dust and something catches the poor victim’s eye, and off to Wonderland they go. Off to their doom.

The Situation:

It would be all fine and dandy if these poor sods had their wits about them, but alas they don’t. Because in Wonderland, things are different—including you. Someone from the real world cannot exist as they are, and need to undergo a certain sort of metamorphosis to adapt to their new climate. A metamorphosis that leaves them confused, so confused that they fall right into any trap that the bloodthirsty Queen puts in their way.
Never once has one victim been able to gather their wits in time to escape their oftentimes-bloody end. And only once has anyone pulled from our world been able to find his or her way back—and it is doubtful that they will ever be able to sleep again. Poor thing.

The Game:

The game consists of many levels—the number and difficulty of which the Queen changes at a whim. There is no way back and no way forward, so trying to escape it is useless (after all, it encompasses almost the entirety of Wonderland). Supposedly, if someone were to win the game, they would get access to a certain mirror in the Queen of Hearts’ palace—the same mirror that brought the players into the Wonderland. Only that mirror will work—there is none other like it in the world. But just to pass through is not enough: one not only has to make the journey, but recover from the return metamorphosis in time to run for their lives yet again. The game is grossly unfair, but to complain is to invite one’s death. So one can either die complaining, or die fighting. Suicide’s also an option, but that’s up to the player.

Player Info
:

Okay, this rp's going to be a little different. All the characters have certain traits that come along with the character itself. However, these things are only about three sentences long and leave enough room for the player to develop the character how they wish. I can't find my notebook for the life of me. So--it's all your guys' call...with my approval, naturally...

However, when your character is sucked into Wonderland, there is no way around the general confusion.

Because PL and I came up with this rp, both of us will be the NPC's. I'd ask for more help, but there's maybe four or five of us that are active in this Guild, so no asking for NPCs.

Also make note that you do not need to have read Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass/ect. to join. This is nothing like Novus Regnum because everything is excessively loose in terms of world and character development--after all, this is mostly original RP.

Another night, another song. He really did need to find something other than the soundtracks to Charlie Chaplin films and Pachelbel. Yes, the Canon in D was nice, but not night after night.

Book in front of him, he began playing some choise Pachelbel selections. Perhaps it would be too quiet to hear tonight?

--------------

That was it. She was going to get pictures of that ghost, goddamnit.

Obviously something was in the theatre. After all, there was no other way to sneak out other than right off the stage--how could one explain the amazing disappearing pianist?

You would've thought Eva was going to steal something--she was dressed all in black with a hat firmly clamped down onto her head to hide her hair. She'd even covered up the silver bits on her camera so no one would see them reflect.

That being said, she was currently sneaking through the park towards the lake. Towards the theatre.

((Allright peoples, everyone's going to run into eachother inside! Happy trails!))

It was dark.

This turned out to be a good thing for Russel, he wasn't good when it was bright after all ...

The drug addict was cold.

Just 16 years of age, Russel had had hard breaks in life and now lived on the streets, robbing little old ladies to fuel his habit. Yeah, it wasn't what he'd envisioned when he was five but it kept him going.

Thing is, it was cold!

Russel had always hated the cold!

The teenager made his way around to the entrance of the building and made his way inside; the creepy music didn't really register on him ... It was warm!

It wasn't that Eva was a klutz, it was just that sometimes she didn't always look to see what she was walking into...

...Like a person, for example.

The girl fairly shrieked, jumping back, the flash from her camera going off as it hit the floor.

Dear God that was bright!

Russel wasn't the most alert person in the known universe and so rather ... blinked at her for a long time. "Who the ******** carries a camera at this time of night?" He asked, sounding rather out of it.

He was a rather typical teenager with lank dark blond hair and green eyes, his clothing was rough and he did look like someone off the street.

Eva's eyes were about bugging out of her head--big blue marbles, really.

"Jesus H. Christ! Who stands in the middle of a damn theater at night?!"

"could ask you the same," He offered. "And you don't look like the sort of chick who'd usually hang around these places ..." Russel crossed his arms, kit bag at his back.

"I'm trying see who's really playing that piano." she sort of puffed out her chest a bit, crossing her arms and trying to look like she hadn't just had the crap scared out of her.

"Piano?" Russel asked before seeming to hear it for the first time. "Maybe it's ... one of those auto ... automat ... magic ones," He offered.

"Player pianos aren't warm when they stop playing." Eva replied, trying to make sure that her camera was okay.

"What?" He asked, wondering what she meant about it being warm. "Well ... you go have fun with that. Be careful though ... lots of addicts will probably be in here tonight ..."

"Unless they're all zombies like you, I doubt it." she replied, pulling out a flashlight. "I haven't heard anything other than that piano."

"Not a Zombie ..." Russel replied, "Not dead yet ..." Though he'd been close of course!

"What else am I supposed to call a glazed-eyed person, standing randomly in a dark room--with or without drooling?" Eva checked over her camera one more time before beginning off toward the music.
