The concept of this thread is to talk about hand to hand combat between two opponents, you name the oponents.

In each post you make to this thread you must either...

A) List a pair of combatants that would duel against each other

Example: Mr T vs Santa
Or...

B) Add your thoughts to an earlier listing, like why one oponent would be better than another.

Example:

"Mr T has got the ability to pity, so that would be hard on Santa, then again, Santa could give Nuclear Bombs as Christmas presents..."

So, simple stuff really. Let's begin with...

Mario vs an inanimate Rock.

I'm talking the original Super Mario World Mario, not one from these later games either.
