I want a girl who knows what's best
Just wanted to say thank you to Pinky and everyone who helped form this guild.
I had almost forgotten it is probably the only place on Gaia where I can speak freely and openly and not have to worry about who reads it.
The fact that we restrict admission is another benefit, since if there is someone I genuinely dislike I can say so. And hopefully come to some sort of agreement on their joining of the guild. That has yet to happen, but it is comforting to know that I can rely on you guys.
Anyways, so to the discussion.
What kinds of things do your guilds (including this one) do for you? How do they make you feel safe, how do they help you out? Do you have anything like a guild in real life?
Might add a poll later.

  ♥ To be honest, this is the only guild i've been so keen on keeping up my posts in. I think it's because of the environment i'm put in. It's the only guild i can say anything that's on my mind and not be slandered in.
I've made so many friends in this guild. Although i'm not best friends with the whole entire population of this guild, i'm proud to say that i've found my best friends on gaia here.
There's a handful of people in this guild who i constantly talk to outside of the guild using instant messaging or even on the phone.
This guild and the people in it have helped me through a lot of things i've been handling lately and i'm really thankful that there's people in this guild who i can vent on and have listen to me at my worst and not criticize me for being so angry. I try to not make my personal issues reflect on how i handle this guild.
The closest thing i have to this guild in real life would have to be my best friends, Nina, Michael, and Trisha. And my Choir. Then there's my family too.. They give me all sorts of support, and i love them for that. ♥

I must say I do enjoy the freedom that seems apparent in this guild, to express yourself (in a nice way) and not have to worry about some jerk totally ripping on you for whatever you said.
So far the other clans I've joined for zomg... Seem to be really inactive.
Guilds in most games are a lot different... and they require a lot of commitment... Which is why I usually stay away from joining them, cause if I do join, I get like rather committed... Or am just always screwing around with them in some way or other.
Umm as for a 'guild' in real life... well that'd be like a semi closed group you hang out in... a clique basically. Umm I'm not really in any of those right now.

I like how we don't let JUST anyone in.
Like, usually, the people who we get into the guild is recommended. and that kind of helps because we know we can trust they have potential. and most usually do.

heart This guild has some really good people in it. Sometimes I think it would be great to know some of you in real life, but then I would feel bad that you got to know me in real life. I generally put the L in loser. Not sur exactly what I lost to be a loser, but apparently... I never found it. heart
