 The small grey female padded her way quietly through the underbrush, shivering with the slight cold of the place, even if she didnt feel the chill frost against her skin from the moist air her mind created the image of it and hence she believed she felt it. Like waking up from a very long sleep and stepping out of a warm blanket into a dark room..one moment shed been curled up and happy asleep and then..now this..and to top it all off she was hungry! Sniffling slightly, lapping down the upstanding fur on her chest as she glanced around cautiously, stopping only for a brief moment..she was sure shed heard the snapping of a twig..or maybe a stray leaf rustle, then again maybe she was loosing it!?

 Stalking along at her own leisure, Rook huffed every now and then at a passing shrub or stone. Tail swatting back and forth, the end caught the trunk of a tree once in a while and left deep gashes where it had hit. Smoke trailed behind her, disappearing in little wisps once she lifted her taloned paw.
"Missserable weather, thisss cold..." she hissed under her breath, little clouds of fog forming as she spoke. Every few steps frosted leaves crunched and crumbled beneath her feet, twigs snapping from the cold.
She froze suddenly, large ears swiveled forward and eyes wide, watching. What was that she had felt? She could almost smell whatever it was, it was so close. Crouching low to the ground, the Smokewalker crept closer to whatever it was she had sensed...

Cheza froze up, shivering and glancing around, now she knew she'd heard something! Fur stiffening along her back as she crept forwards from where shed been sitting forcing herself to move..Suddenly dashing forwards through the brush, her whole body tensing up as she looked up to see..see..
"Ahck." she was caught in an inaudible scream, little bright red eyes open wide as she looked up at the large creature before her..something much much bigger then she was!

Rook sneered down at the younger Kage, white eyes gleaming in the dimmer light of the forest. "What do we have here?" she murred, spines along her back rising with every passing moment, "Lossst your way, have you?"
She suppressed a malicious giggle from her lungs, tail swaying dangerously back and forth behind her. What was this little thing doing out here? Surely it had some... human... to go live with in some comfortable house.
She hissed air through her teeth at the thought, lowering her head so she could stare eye-to-eye with the other.

Cheza choked on her reply, trying to make herself a smaller target, realizing the threat of what shed run into here..this thing looked angry and nasty and well rather dangerous to small little kage like herself!
"I-I..Im not lost!" she stuttered, snapping at the larger female defensively curling her lithe little tail around her body, it wasnt like there was any place for her to run any room for it either with this thing stalking her now. "Wh-what about you huh..what are you doing out here" trying to sound tough with her small little voice as she gazed up at the large kage.

Rook's expression stretched into a wide, toothy smirk as she watched the younger one squirm in fear, rather enjoying the effect she seemed to have on it. It had been a while since she had last run in to another, and this was, well... exhilarating.
"You sssure look it." she hissed in response, claws digging in to the dirt at her feet rather than latching on to the other, "Asss for me, I do what I pleasse, go where I want. I don't lisssten to any little humansss." Her eyes narrowed at the thought of the human that had inadvertently bound herself to her... with her precious priestly in tow all the time... she snorted, air puffing small clouds as it came out of her nostrils.

Cheza hissed back defensively though it wasnt much coming from her, taking a deep breath as she finally sat up "I am not lost! I just..I dont know where I am thats all, but im not lost" she said shaking her head furiously, a quiet little squeak escaping her as she watched the large kage maul the poor ground, startling her enough to make her back up a step. "I do to, I dont....I cant find my human" she sniffled slightly at that statement, she went wherever she wanted did what she wanted because she couldnt find her human, shed looked but wherever she went nothing, but she knew there was someone out there for her!

Rook fought back a loud laugh, suppressing it into a low snort. "That meansss lossst, little runt." She grinned more broadly as the young one backed away, tail curling in knots behind her and swatting the air. Her eyes narrowed as the other talked of her human, white irises staring coldly down at her.
"They don't care, you'll learn that quickly," she snapped, "Humanss are all the ssame that way. They're disgussted by usss, what we are. They created uss, yet they can't bear to keep uss around." Her jaws snapped, fangs gleaming in the low light.

"Oooh.." she shrugged looking hurt as the older female snickered at her, she didnt think it was funny at all.."Well I cant learn that until it happens to me now can I!" she huffed angrily, hunching her little shoulders as she glared up at the hell kage. "D-disgusted by you maybe but, not me.." she stuttered her fear renewed at the flash of her fangs, why did she have to run into someone so scary? Still it was better then no one. "Not, not all humans can be like that" they just couldnt be.. if that were true then what would she do!

"When it doesss, you'll feel dejected," she hissed, still giggling softly, "Lossst. The few that care are few and far inbetween. Mosst that do only want uss for our sstregnth in battle." She snorted at the thought, shaking her head. "And they call uss dissgussting. They have no sensse of moralss, no code of honor."
Feeling that she was rambling, Rook crept closer to the other, trails of smoke following her paws as she did so. "Now tell me, what makess you think sso highly of humanss? What have they ever done to help you? Sssurely if they cared you wouldn't be sstuck here facing me now."

"It wont..dont say that!" cheza hissed sniffling again as she tried to take another step back away from the female. She hated the sound of her giggling, wished she could just just bite her or something and make her stop! "Not lost just not found yet.." she frowned softly actually smiling when she mentioned battle "Do I look like a battle pet? Feh and the only thing disgusting here is you" morals yes as if this this mean looking thing had morals or a code either.
Chezas tail swishing slowly against the ground as she ran her paw over her ears. "I just..I dont think highly" she huffed giving her a small glare "Nothing, nothing to help me but they do care, kee there is one out there who will care about me!" she said sternly "I dont exist to be alone, there has to be some reason behind it, someone waiting just for me to come along and im going to find that person" it hurt though because despite all her thoughts everything this female said seemed to have a bit of truth to it, if she had an owner out there then why hadnt she found him or her yet why was she stuck here!
