The young neverlin kage stretched slightly, glancing at the night sky as he did so.
Why am I here? The creature thought, flexing his back leg before standing straight. For the past few days, he had been driven by the urge to find something - to consume something that would satisfy his hunger.
A few times, he had spotted animals, and his hunger would return stronger than ever. He felt uneasy whenever it came: it was like some sort of thirst that was awfully difficult to ignore. However, he had managed to turn away, refusing to comply to the innate drive within him that was pressing him to consume a soul.
The kage walked forward, feeling light-headed as his body craved for the taste of anothers' soul...
I don't think I can go on for much longer without killing something. He thought, feeling defeated. The young male slumped down, muzzle resting on the grass, If we need to kill others to live...then for what reason...were we born?
((wow, that was lame. >< anyway, feel free to post something, anyone biggrin ))

 Dravens tail twitched, dashing fast over the grass, a little gleam in his eyes as he lept over a small shrub. All senses on the alert ears swiveling as he suddenly narrowed in on something, coming to a none to graceful stop as the pup tripped over his front paw. He often cursed his own clumsiness yet sometimes..sometimes he could do things right. "Hello?" he said quietly to the sky, nose to the ground as he sensed something near by..Maybe it would be another rabbit! He loved chasing rabbits, of course he was never swift enough to catch anything but the chase..invigorating..

((Yay! RP time for Kreios biggrin ))
Kreios perked his head suddenly, hearing the sound of something hitting the ground nearby and then something talking aloud.
What the-?
He slowly lifted himself up, trying to locate the source of the noise while at the same time, attempting to keep himself upright.
I really...will need to eat something soon. He thought, squinting his eyes as his vision was becoming blurry...
"Anyone there?" Kreios said aloud, his ears flicking slightly as he awaited a reply.
The voice he had heard sounded like something that could be potentially friendly...Not an angry human, as he had been used to hearing.
Kreios felt slightly hopeful at this thought, but decided to not give himself false hope...

"Hey! There you are" dravens ears flicked like a switch pouncing towards the soft noise.."Hee hee, of course, im here silly" draven said curiously head tilting tail twitching lightly as he suddenly took the last few steps forwards and just buried his nose in the other young males pelt taking a big deep sniff with his nose.
Pulling back and coughing "You smell like dirt.." he sniffled sneezing squeakily a few times. Something looked off about this one, smelled off. "Hee hee, sorry my bad I'm being weird again aren't I!" not that he even knew who this kage was, it was just well he hadnt been able to find another of his kind in sooo long! Seeing another young kage his age just made him ecstatic!

Kreios jolted slightly, surprised at the other kage's existence. He twitched a bit as the other kage prodded his nose into his fur, not used to seeing other creatures like himself. It was sure good to meet another kage though!
"...I smell like...dirt?" Kreios repeated, wondering what he smelt like. Curious, he poked his head forward slightly, beady eyes studying the other young kage.
"Y-You're...not being weird." Kreios stammered quickly, "Erm. My name's Kreios. What's your name?"
He squinted his eyes again, trying to focus on the other kage's face. His vision was clearly failing him, Argh...I'm seeing double. He thought, Maybe I could ask him to help me hunt...?--

"Yeah dirt and grass..and..something else" draven shrugged he couldnt make it out really. "AH..name..Oh name! Feh I'm Draven! Nice to meet you kreios you have a neat name, definetly fun to say" he nodded a few dozen times shifting from paw to paw "Hey you okay, you dont..your all squinty" or maybe he was seeing things, but the other said he wasnt being weird, he was nice!

Kreios stepped back a bit, "Oh. I have been sleeping in paddocks...Maybe I smell like cows?"
He blinked at this own sentence, hoping that he didn't sound weird to the other kage...
"Draven, huh? You've got a good name too." Kreios said, smiling a bit. He was starting to feel a lot happier meeting the young kage.
Kreios turned his head slightly, "Oh...Erm...I dunno if I'm feeling too good. I haven't had anything to eat in awhile."
He tried not to squint, but wasn't really succeeding, now struggling to keep his eyes open.
"Ergh...can you help me hunt something?? I don't really want to suck a soul out of something again, but...I don't know if I'll be able to move anymore if I don't get food..."

"Paddocks..horseys and cows.." draven blinked, hed never seen a cow not up close at least. "Uhhuh, hmm..you sick.." he listened eyes widening slowly as he stood there mouth slightly agape "Chuu..how long has it been since you've eaten! Gods you must be starving by now!" prancing a little bit more his movements slightly frantic now as he nodded "Of course I'll help, I mean if you dont eat something you'll..well you'll vanish wont you" he wasnt sure hed never gone long enough without eating to actually get sick, usually it came on so strong that he didnt have a choice so he just went out and ah killed.
He supposed that he was once a weak willed person maybe? "Well find you a squirrel! Or or a rabbit, maybe a rat? Something small that way you wont feel so bad when you have to take its soul. Hee I like to call it energy, isnt that a nicer word energy" he giggled suddenly, ears flattened as he realized he was being silly. "You just relax though kay, I promise I'll find you something"

ahem!---- anyways ...*regains composure*))
"Energy..." Kreios murmured, thinking about it, "Yeah...that's a better word."
The kage's ears flicked a bit, "I dont know when I last ate something, but...it felt...wrong."
His voice trailed off as he shuddered for a moment at the thought of his first kill...
"But something small would be good. Erm...if it isn't too much trouble, could you help me get...a rabbit?"
Kreios figured that a rat wouldn't be enough, but he didnt want to ask too much...after all, it was kind of odd to be asking the other kage something like this when they had only just met.

Draven gave him a feral little grin, tail swishing so fast at the word rabbit that it was making a pattern in the grass "Me, catch a rabbit! Hee hee, a cute fluffy fast little meal on four legs? Gladly! I've been itching to snag something alllll day!" he giggled, glancing back at his tail in light surprise at the thumping noise and promptly stepping on it with his back leg...
"Hah..ha..Im excited!" he said sheepishly, it was to bad that kreios didnt enjoy hunting, ooh did that mean he was a gentle soul! Yes yes very gentle.."No worries though! Like I promised I'll help you catch a bunny uh-huh, maybe even help you get over this ehm..wrong feeling..whas it? Oh conscience! You have a conscience!" he said with a determined nod actually rather proud of himself for remembering that.
"My minds sorta been scattered since this whole waking up business and this neat little body" he shrugged no biggie right? Hopping to his feet and turning promptly back towards the way hed come in here, nose and ears low to the ground as he began stalking away from kreios..rabbit..bunny..fluffy..had to had to catch one....

Kreios raised his head as he watched Draven slink away, I need to get over this. He thought, Maybe I'm not supposed to care about things that I used to...in my past...life.
He frowned at the thought, Whatever my past life was.
Kreios nodded to himself: if Draven could somehow help him, he was sure he would feel less miserable. Less guilty...Less lonely. Kreios closed his eyes, ears folding back against his head as he rested for a moment, trying not to think too much...
"I'm getting...a headache." He said quietly to himself, "I have to stop thinking--...about it."
The young kage sighed, But why are we here...?
And who ...was I?
Kreios wondered if Draven had thought about this question too...Or maybe it was something that other kages didnt think about? Maybe he wasn't supposed to think about it? Kreios gave himself a small growl, "Arrh...stop thinking, Kreios! You're thinking too much!"

Draven kept his nose to the ground, body still for the moment claws splayed out against the earth as he lay there nearly flat, his ears pressed against his skull and his ever presently wagging tail limp for once..It was a bunny, soft and gray just sitting there munching on clovers..
'Gotcha' a slight smirk crossed his face as he crept closer, tense and ready to pounce. Suddenly the bunny twitched and looked up his little nose going crazy and his ears doing that 'antenna thing' the bunny bolted and draven cursed kicking off the ground after the thing 'Evil evil little bunny depriving my friend of a meal! Chee..we just dont want to starve is that so bad!', if he had paid attention to any of his own thoughts even he would have noticed that this was uncharacteristic for him, he normally didnt get angry but this was important.
His tail acting like a balance as he turned with the rabbit, yelping as the thing slipped into its dark little hole..of course draven wasnt about to let it get away so easily. Going at the burrow and digging like mad, widening it until he could get his head in and yet still going deeper, he could hear the little fluff squealing so close..so so so..His fangs caught something warm. Yanking his head out of the hole the rabbit in his jaws caught tight by a back leg draven panting between holding the struggling creature covered from head to toe in dirt and dust..Yet feeling ultimately triumphant.
'Kreios is going to be so happy!' he thought 'I'm even gonna bring it back to him alive and fresh!' he giggled to himself turning to trot back to his newest hungry friend.

Kreios lifted his head, hearing the sound of footsteps...
His ears straightened as he attempted to figure out what was approaching him, before he figured that it was probably Draven.
Is he back already??? That was fast! Kreios thought, almost in awe.
Slowly, the kage stretched his legs, standing...
Hunting with someone would be so much better. Kreios thought to himself, remembering the time it took him to hunt on his own.
((Wargh, bad RP post, sorry! i have a mindblock sweatdrop ))

Draven sniffled lightly, wishing he could scratch at his ears and his nose, but the dangling rabbit in his jaws made him think otherwise..mmm rabbit..no no no! Not for him not this time, puffing out his chest slightly holding his head high as he pranced in through the bushes that led to the little area hed left kreios in.
"Mmhp, thahdah!" he muttered his long tail swishing excitedly as he paraded his catch to his newest friend, he would have said more but ehh..rabbit...mouth..hard to talk!

((lol, still RPing Kreios as a little kage instead of an adult one for now.))
Kreios mustered up a small grin, "Thanks Draven! That was really fast!"
The kage clamped his teeth around one end of the rabbit, tugging at the rabbit's leg for a moment...
Kreios hesitated, feeling uneasy.
I don't want to do this... He thought, and closed his eyes for a brief moment.
"Sorry bunny." The young kage murmured, before he sunk his teeth deep into the rabbit, canines penetrating past the fur and hide...
Kreios felt the life being drawn from the small creature, flowing and mingling with his own energy...The rabbit grew limp, and Kreios dropped it on the ground, staring at it for a moment...
He turned back to Draven, "That feels better...thanks again. I probably would've ended up dead without your help!"
He smiled, tail swishing from side to side as he felt renewed...
"Say, Draven...do you remember anything before you woke up?" Kreios asked, still troubled about his earlier thoughts, "...Do you feel like you were something else before?"
((I have no idea how kages actually eat gonk ))
