Hello and welcome to the Realm of Larenia! Now that you have read the Rules and Guidelines and have maybe had a chance to see the guild’s set up, let me tell you a bit about the realm.
Larenia is more or less, divided into five countries, each with their own political set-up, culture and physical features. These things will be explained further in each section’s informational thread. These countries are:
Senri-Naa
Crinitia
Vvraeden
Areath
The Dragons Realm
The people of Larenia each share a history of dragon magic and spiritual companionship. While the Dragons Realm is no longer accessible by anyone in Larenia, it remains a huge influential power. It is considered one of the most spiritual places in Larenia, but also the most dangerous. People who travel there in hopes of finding spiritual peace do not return. It’s become a wide-known belief that in this place remains the few last dragons of Larenia that posses extreme magical power.
The Spirits of Larenia come in the basic forms of Earth, Fire, Water, and air. These spirits are the force that gives Larenia it’s mystical appeal and are also the cause of Larenia’s current political dispute. While the country of Areath yearns for power and technological advances, it uses the power of the spirits- placing them in an almost slave-like position. It was unknown to many that the spirits had actually acquired their own kind of consciousness and therefore they were considered to be tools instead of beings. Because of Areath’s ignorance, Crinitia has set upon a war.
The people of Crinitia each have their own Spirit Companion which allows them to use elemental magic. Because of their close bond to the spirits, they have come to realize that Areath’s ploy is causing misery and have decided to stomp out this misuse. Although Vvraeden is a peace loving country, it is an ally to Crinitia and has also been pulled into this conflict.
This is only a brief explanation of the conflicts going on- so keep up with announcements and notice boards in case of any changes!
You are merely a person in this realm and do not have to participate in any of the political jargon going on- just remember that what happens to the country will affect you as well such as going to war, trading leaders, blah blah blah. I hope my explanation was enough to help you along your journey in the Realm of Larenia!
