Caldon

As you enter the city of Caldon a kind looking soldier dressed in light shiny armour greets you with a happy smile. “Hello there! Welcome to the great capital of Crinitia!” he says with cheery voice. Obviously most of the people here are pretty nice... for the most part. “I see you’re new here, well, let me tell you a bit about the place!”

“Caldon is located in a mix of mountains and trees and is roughly 684 km². The city is made up completely of ice and remains that way throughout the changing seasons because it is considered a holy place by the Water Spirits! It's beautiful icy features and serene view of the mountains and forest make it a most prized home to many Crinitians. including myself!” The soldier seems extremely enthusiastic about his home so you can’t help but continue to listen.

“Merchants line the streets with various goods from all over the world, but most of those items you could probably find at a better price in Lavistad... though don’t tell anyone I told you that. North of the city is Crinitia’s largest Dragon Temple where many come to pray to the Dragons’ Realm.

“The Grand Palace is located in the center of the city. It is a tall and winding tower of ice which inhabits hundreds! I myself happen to live there! Empress Reydith’s quarters are located at the very top where she can see all of Larenia through a special eyeglass known as “The Dragons Eye”. Although it is a place for political talk and whatnot, it’s also a nice to stop by for a good look at it’s amazing features!”

“Anywho, if you’re looking for a place to stay just head down this main road and you’ll be bound to find several inns, shops and restaurants fitting your needs. If you are looking for someone, feel free to the view the city’s directory! I hope that your stay in Caldon is as warm as my welcome!”

The soldier bellows out a hearty laugh before handing you a map of the city and stepping aside to let you into the city. “Remember! There’s lots of work and recreational activities available in the city! Have a good day!” he calls out.
