My Ode to a Turkey
This bird so succulent
Ushering in a scent so
Redolent of home and content
Knowing nothing of what
Event could render it cooked
Yearning to be overlooked XD
For you Americans, what did you do for Thanksgiving? Did you eat too much? If you are not American, what did you do anyhow?
Are you going shopping for Black Friday? I'm didn't and I am not. I am staying away from stores today. 3nodding

For thanksgiving... my family and i basically have a starch day... i tend to not eat a lot... but still feel uterly full... my family eats to much...
I do not go out on black friday... i find it rather dangerous... especialyl around where i live...

What is a "starch day" as compared to any other day?
Yeah, I think it was best not to go out considering someone got killed in a stampede. confused

Thursday was thanksgiving right?
I worked and for dinner I warmed some spagetti-sauce... xD I was lazy that day, our wednesday & friday dinner were way more festive... :3
I did watch a movie with my bf, maffia-movie it was...
No black friday here btw, at least, there was a lot of traffic in Budapest, when we were driving to the airport, but it wasn't worse than normal I guess...

Umaeril What is a "starch day" as compared to any other day? Yeah, I think it was best not to go out considering someone got killed in a stampede. confused On thanksgiving, we have patatoes, mashaed patatoes, stuffing, etc... we have more starchy items on that day than any other holiday >.o
