What is the best surprise that your military loved one has given you?


lol, well, mine happened yesterday. Brian has been in AIT school in Florida since the middle of September and I'm still here in good ol' Indiana. I thought I was going to have to wait until Dec. 20th to get to see him. So yesterday his mom and sister wanted to come over for a Thanksgiving breakfast, we've all gotten really close since me and Brian started dating especially after he left, so I was pretty excited. They got to my house and his dad was there too, which was odd because he was supposed to be at a dog show. So Michelle, the sis, asked to borrow some of my clothes so that she could go shopping the next day so up stairs we went. A minute or so later his mom calls us down and as we were walking to the kitchen Michelle whips around with a camera and I look and there are 2 other cameras pointing in my face. Next thing I see is Brian sitting at our dining table. I was quite surprised, and very very very happy! He's home until Sunday. Haha, apparently everyone in my life knew he was coming home except for me. rofl I must say, this is the best Thanksgiving I've ever had and it gave me so much to be thankful for. smile

I came home from school for Winter Break last year and my mother couldn't pick me up, so Janet(my now mother-in-law) said that she could come and get me. She got there, about 20 minutes late of course and I was getting out my huge trunk so I could put it in the trunk and she just went to the front of the car... I was like, thanks for the help Janet! Then I saw a camera and as soon as I lifted up the trunk latch Reggie(my boyfriend then, husband now) popped out!
I was sooo surprised because I thought we were going to the airport later to pick him up and I looked three kinds of hellish because I had just gotten done with finals and spent the entire night cramming.
It was amazing, scared the hell out of me though!
