As you enter Pandemonium through one of its many winding tunnels, you see plain cement floors and walls all around you. Torches light the walls as you walk slowly down the convined tunnel, taking several minutes to reach the end. When you do, the pathways open up much more, creating rather large hallways. Many doors line the walls, each labeled with a number. The empty spaces on the walls become filled with dark colored tapestries containing several images.

This place takes 25% of the space under Durem's underground, and has four levels. It is the HQ of the Death Clan, and is more than large enough to contain all of their members and their slaves.

Level one is for newer people with 2 or less spells
Level two is for people with 3-6 spells
Level three is for people with 7+ spells
Level four is strictly for the Leader, Second in Command, and Third in Command (unappointed)

*Death Clan Members, check the OOC thread for a more detailed description. Coming soon.*

Breathing heavily as he walked, DeMarkus thought to himself, Whoo, what a day. I thought for a minute there it could have been the end of me..Slyphia, Wiveri, and his cronies. Not to mention those kids..those kids. Who were they? I noticed them as I fled, what kids would stand and watch a battle unfold rather than run crying or shrivil in fear? DeMarkus clearly had a large amount of thought on his mind as he lazily walked down the passageway.

As the tunnel took a sharp turn to the right, DeMarkus took his weapon and formed it into the shape of a key, and he seemingly inserted it into a solid wall. Turning it, and waving his hand, the door slowly krept open. In he crawled, weak from all the energy consumption. "I need to rest," he spoke aloud to himself. "Damn that Slyphia, making me waste more energy to cast Suffering on her as well." Oh well, no use getting pissed over them. They will die..one day.

Having finally reached his lair, a huge open room, with a large king sized mattress, a closet for storing armor, and one for actual clothes, as well as several torches on the wall and several secret entrances. However, the rest of the room, all the way to the floor, was completely empty space.

Undressing into only an undershirt and boxers, DeMarkus laid down on his bed to sleep on his thoughts of clan elimination and revenge..

Her eyes glancing every now and then, her lips held a crooked smile as she went through the winding alleways, reaching a different entrance to the HeadQuarters. She entered and secured the entrance by watching the daylight fade as the magic closed the entrance behind her.

She rubbed the back of her neck and became slighty annoyed by the prespiration upon her skin; not to mention the smell that lingered from the refuse outside. Her eyes slitted as they adjusted to the dimness brought on by the flickering torches that adorned the underground castle walls.

Her eyes glanced at a secret passage way, one that lead to a series of them. Looking both ways, ensuring the coast was 'clear' she entered. She chuckled inwardly as she imagined all the new recruits having to walk the whole length of the headquarters. Raising up her hand and pressing gently upon the wall, she whispered the secret phrase, barely above a breath. The unique thing about these passage wasy was they were unknown; save for her Lord DeMarkus and her cunning self.

Tousling tresses now and then, her boots muffling her footsteps as always, she listened to the random chat that echoed along the narrow corridor. After climbing a flight of stairs as she had done earlier, she was now in her chambers.

Her hands at her leather corset, pulling at the leather strings holding it together at her front, she frowned in displeasure at the empty tub. Her top half done, she clenched her jaw. Storming outside her chambers she fumed with rage. To her luck, there were two 'servants' passing by. She grabbed one of them and yelled,

"Fetch me hot water!"

They knew who she was and did as they were told. Just as a spoiled child throwing a tantrum, she put her hands to her head and said outloud, "Useless!"

She slammed her chamber door, waiting impatiently. Soon after a timid knock sounded, "Took you long enough!" She barked. As the servants tended to her needs, readying the bath, she muttered and complained all the while.

"Finally! Be gone, you worthless curs!" She said as the bowed to her and exited the room.

Undressing fully, she slipped into the hot tub, her hair fastened into a bun at the top of her head. She reached over to the herbs on the little stand next to the tub, as she emptied it into the water she began to calm and become more at ease.

"Honestly. Can't anything be done right around here?" She said closing her eyes.

After a long soak in scented water, she felt much more refreshed and in a much better mood. She washed her hair with the remaining water left over in the bucket besides the tub. Now finished she dressed in tight leathers, of course, but this time, they were a skin tight suit and wore provacative boots with rather deadly heels. Fixing her hair up into a ponytail, she slicked her hair back. '

Exiting her room she assumed that her tub would be taken care of, why else would they have slaves about the castle? She made her way to the common room, seeing if anyone was present. Seeing the lesser clan members there she continued on to the dining room and stopped. She realized that she was rather hungry and was thinking of eating...but of course, what kind of person would she be if she didn't ask her dear Lord DeMarkus.

A calculating smile graced her lips as she walked back. This time, she used the open hallways, the regular passage ways to her Lord's chambers. She asked the guards along the way if they had seen the leader of the Death Clan. They answered promptly. It was quite awhile that he had arrived, one said.

She turned without even a syllable of gratitude. "Perhaps I will take my chance and ask him for a late dinner. Oh how he gets cross when woken up." She thought to herself, shivering as goosebumps trailed her forearms.

Sadistic and twisted, Leena the Cursed one was.

She continued on the darkened corridors, her eyes trailing 'bout the ceiling as she waltzed towards her Lord's chambers. Upon arriving a foot from his chamber doors, most would knock at this point, she instead, pushed open the large doors, not knowing if they were locked or not. A grin on her face as she did so.

//Kuja, are the locked?

(You have a key, methinks. wink )

Hearing the large bolted door of his chambers slowly open, DeMarkus jumped up readily, charging Death energy between his fingertips, ready to attack. Noticing the dark, mysterious figure of Leena the Cursed One coming into his presence, DeMarkus reacted carefully. "What do you want?" he bellowed, the tone in his voice a fierce one. "As you might have noticed, I'm trying to rest, you little...never mind. I had a little..quarel with the leaders of Earth and Sky today, along with some of Earth's cronies. They apparently have a problem with me murdering the innocents of Barton." DeMarkus snickered after that. "Such a fun day too. Murdering some helpless children in a Barton schoolhouse. One day you really must accompany me, Leena. I could have really used your talent in battle today," DeMarkus bickered, a tone of regret in his voice. "Innocent deaths are the best form of entertainment, second only to killing other clanners. Those newbies would have been no match for your cunning and deadly accuracy."

DeMarkus walked up behind Leena, wrapping his cold, clammy hand around her neck, bringing her closer. He then came up and put his head into her ear and whispered, "Where would you like to go?"

//Ahhhhh. Keys. Got it. heart

"What do you want?" Her Lord asked, she instead remained silent taking a few steps in front of the now closed chamber doors.

She couldn't help but scoff in her mind, "A quarrel," she thought as she listened to DeMarkus. But as he obviously complimented her, she only nodded her head, her eyes half-lidded as she did so, in her oh-so seductive way that she did all the time. Her neck slender and so small was fully wrapped by her Lord's hand, her sly smile never fading, to her a seemingly hoarse whisper,

"Where would you like to go?"

And she replied turning slightly, only so that her eyes met with Demarkus' own,

"After all that excitement , I'm sure that my Lord is starved, famished. Its a great concern to me that you're properly taken care of," her eyes twinkled, "my dear Lord DeMarkus." Her voice quieted as her words trailed, her face so close to his, lips almost to the point of contact.

[ Time to break up the two lovers, methinks. 3nodding ]

Aureith was lingering around the area, clad in pure black as the usual, she decided not to be elegantly dressed in the HQ this eve'. She was rather curious about what was going on at the moment, lightweight legs almost effortlessly lifting her into jumps as she decided to hover and jump along the bushes and trees outside like a rampant monkey. Once she found herself towards the entrance of the secluded 'palace' she found her way in and weaved through corridoors and rooms, spying in on other fighters and little bugs who she could squish with foul comments for egotistical fun.

Piercing dark eyes were caved in stone, non existant emotion within them, just cold, bottomless depths of brown-black, full of intent as she slowly wandered ever closer to the Master Chambers. For the day she had no kills to her name, she didn't feel as if she needed them. Once she started weaving her way around again, she noticed at the distance the Master Chambers were open, the doors which were usually kept closed. Aure' couldn't say she was one of the closest to the leader, but she could always get away with a few sly comments without being throttled. Once again, she made a decision, Aure' walked towards the door and saw Leena oh-so-very-close to DeMarkus, there was no doubt she could get away with what she was about to say, as from her angle there could be no other situation being witnessed.

She broke their happy little moment and retorted, her black clad arms and fingertips crossing over her chest, the slit showing the only slash of flesh and her eyes were glimmering in bitter amusement. "Oh dear... Are my eyes fooling me or is M'Lord getting a little too close to a goon? And for all the wrong reasons, might I add." If her face could be seen, a grin would be appropriately slapped on it, she never really expressed no respect for anyone but DeMarkus, the other ranks did not apply, second-in-command, or however long these ranks went down to, even 1000th in command wouldn't phase her; to her, if they were lower than the top, they were still a goon. Her Katana remained strapped onto her back, although a shiruken was shimmering in the light, it being held within the confines of her gloved fingertips, she had it out before she came, but it was still indefinate her uses for it would be for somewhere else from this dinky little room...

Although she was proud of her form, when she looked at other women's who were more shaped, she thought of them as whores. Only because they actually flaunted themselves to exaggerate their features, suiting the position she gave them. Leena was no different, she was another whore who had an averagely important position, but still continued to dress to impress, but impress who? Her victims? Or possibly the Leader of the clan in hopes she gets special treatment.

Aure' would've snorted towards a cackle if it weren't for the fact it'd be inappropriate and difficult to recover if asked what in hell she was thinking about. Although she wouldn't be scared to say it, she deemed it an inappropriate time to start a catfight.

People would just call her mischevious for daring to toy with DeMarkus's nerves, some would call her just plain gutsy. Therefore she had no real title to her name, as she done a-many things sinful. She was simply Aureith, the murderer, the mischevious, the manipulative. And a-many more titles to choose from.

DeMarkus smiled cruely, his lips crooked, his expression filled with mischief. "Well then Leena, how about we..." DeMarkus was cut off but the sudden speech of an unknown voice. Noticing just outside his doors was a ninja, DeMarkus quickly let go of Leena, pushed her out of the way of any..fire, and picked up a throwing knive off of a desk. Quickly aiming for the clanner's head, DeMarkus lunged the knife, hitting a tiny tie on the woman's headwrap and ripping it right off, pinning it to the wall. "Who the hell do you think you are, to interupt your Lord and Master like that?" DeMarkus screamed at her.

Slowly walking up to the clanner, a malicious intent in his eyes, he screamed again. "Answer my question, you b***h! Who the hell do you think you are? I should execute you right here for delibertatly interupting me, you pathetic underling!" As you can tell, DeMarkus was beyond pissed. Rage slowly consuming him, DeMarkus struggled as he attempted to calm down. "Leave my presence, now."

If this girl wasn't without a deathwish, she'd probably would've soiled herself. As the knife only cut away at the tie of her headwrap, with each sudden movement parts of it would fall away unintentionally, finally leaving her face in view, the face which she hid most of the time and somewhat thought about trying to cover it again, but there was other matters at hand.

Her hair was of a brown-black, it was at first a little twisted coil at the top of her head but freed itself and fell rather loosely in loose waves over her shoulders and just towards mid-back, her bangs were tucked in but now fell around her eyes and the pale flesh of her face, pools of brown glinting beneath the strands, "If it makes you feel any better, go on then. Excecute me." She simply said, life or death, either thing didn't really bother her, the shiruken had remained in her hand, the blade towards her palm just slightly pressing into the fabric covered flesh.

Once he told her to leave, she left, having taken the fabric which he got to rip by his blade. She was calm, her heart had only lept by the volume of his voice, other than that, she was at ease. Turning around, she walked off, her teeth gritting with annoyance for some unknown reason.

Leena was quite upset due to the interruption...but of course her mood change greatly when she saw her Lord roaring at the foolish clanner.

"Really, how amateur--what are those rags anyway?" She scoffed in her mind. As she thought this, she leaned upon the bed post of where her Lord had pushed her aside, and crossed her arms, letting stray strands fall to the sides of her face, an coy grin playing at her lips.

"Oh dear...DeMarkus is quite mad..." Leena continued in her mind. Her smirk was wiped off soon after, fearing of his reaction if he were to see such on her face. Her face was fashioned as her usual cold, arrogant mask; she continued looking at the now revealed woman with half closed indifferent eyes.

She couldn't help but roll her eyes as the woman answered.

"Death would be much easier." Leena snapped inaudibly as she unfolded one arm and examined her nails.

As the woman left, she pushed off lightly from the bed post and walked over to DeMarkus, keeping her distance and slowly advancing.

"Perhaps my Lord would like it better if dinner were served in his chambers?" She suggested softly, her eyes looking up and down his form as she circled him, slowly coming to a stop when she was now standing in front of him, her eyes looking to his.

(( I hope you don't mind. I just want to get RPing, I've been deprived for AGES. ))

"What's going on!?" She said in a fustrated tone as her divinations and meditation-like trance was destroyed at the sound of shouting and noise. She had gone to the basement as one, it was the superior's floor which meant that there SHOULD be quiet. She dropped her arms down and cursed under her breath and finally swore aloud when a figure barged past her. "LORD!!!" She said, flustered, and then went towards DeMarkus' chambers to inquire, hopefully to not be scolded or throttled, she knew so far, from what she saw, that she was the only mage and seer-esque person - but more like an advisor - and hoped it would help her steer clear of danger.

But you can't hope too much from the superiors. Note the word "Death".

Her dress was emerald and her red locks tumbled around her shoulders. Low backed, the markings on her spinal cord visible and sensitive as ever, and reasonably low fronted, square necked and just a tad close to her bosom area. Her sleeves reached her elbows and the edges were decorated with gold lace, sea eyes looked around to find the source of commotion with no luck. In emerald silk slippers, she walked towards her Lord's Chambers to find Leena there with a partially smug look.

Questions flooded her mind. But now she could only manage stuttering from her foolish form, confidence had left her, and now she was defenceless and vulnerable.

"D-d-dearly sorry, M'lord." She begun, her face flushing a slight rouge at her confrontation. She knew she should not have come, but now she started she had to continue. "I-i-i p-pray not to a-anger you. B-b-bur the n-noise was t-t-terrible. O-one could do no-nothing but c-come to enquire what had di-disrupted my work." By now she looked flustered and confused at why she was even here, the rouge tint was obvious of her pale skin and she hoped, prayed, even begged not to be victimised.

Such a silly young woman. But her wellbeing was also on her mind, she could possibly even be snapped in two if hit hard enough.

"S-so-sorry. I-i-i should leave. A-apologies M'lord, I should go c-continue inquiring the H-heavens." And she turned to leave, somewhat dreading if she would be stopped, but somewhat hoping that she would, for some odd reason. But seeing Leena there, she was even more frightened, as many rumors flew left and right, and she didn't want to test these theories, or even think about the stories of the Higher Power's relationships.

As if that ninja girl hadn't pissed off DeMarkus enough, now another girl was here to interfear?! As his anger reached its peek and was at the point of explosion, DeMarkus noticed the fear in this underling's eyes. Perfect, exactly what I want. Fear. Smirking, DeMarkus laughed at her. "Begone, underling, before I rid of you myself." This is exactly what I want. The message I try to send out. Fear. I feed off of it, and it brings me endless plessure. The fear of what I can do, will do. The limitless power I have to end someone's life with the flick of a wrist. The power to kill a large room of people almost instantly.

"Well, what did I just tell you? You are forgiven, now begone, nitwit!"

She was cursing under her breath after she was far enough to do it freely. She must've caught him out too soon, but one always should do something; but like always, she was un-noticed and ignored, just how it always was. So with a turn she left a shudder coming to her body.

"One day something will happen. And one day no one will be there DeMarkus." She said sourly, possibly just out of her anger with what just happened, possibly not. Ahhh, she was a miserable old trout, even though she wasn't exactly old. This little tantrum would last a good day or two until her mind was at ease, so best there not be any missions soon.

Turned heads looking at her cursing and murmuring as she walked up the higher floors and towards her bedroom door. As she wasn't a monstrous giant with stamina and strength so that she could just make a lot of noise; she just opened her door and slammed it behind her back. "Call me a nitwit? Your ungrateful son of a..." But she didn't continue her sentence, lest someone was spying outside as to why she was so angry to add to the flying rumors.

So there, in her room, surrounded by noise. She decided to keep her distance from the underground, and from any more trouble that she might recieve.

Leena had been trying to calm DeMarkus down, she could feel her stomach rumbling softly--oh how she was hungry...Seeing a girl with a faded jade color--almost emerald, dress on barging into Demarkus' chambers a little while after, she couldn't help but close her eyes and rub her left temple with the tip of her forefinger and middle finger.

She sighed quietly, feeling her Lord's anger boil up once more.

As the girl began to speak she heard stuttering and uncertain words. She looked up idly and smirked. Her eyes darted to and from her Lord and the girl.

"Smart girl." She commented in her head, as she appraised the girl.

She stood her full height and stood a little bit behind DeMarkus, but close enough that she was standing beside as well. As DeMarkus mercifully bade goodbye to the girl, Leena waited a few moments.

With a slight pivot of her heeled boots, she stood in front of DeMarkus, his tall figure looming over her. Tilting her head up, she held a cool expression,

"Perhaps a little inspection is in order...after a well deserved meal for my Lord?"

She said in a quiet and rather familiar tone--trying her best to soothe his mood, if that was at all possible at this moment. Her eyes crawled upon DeMarkus' features, from his chin to his eyes, back down to his chin.

"Those stupid little shits are lucky I didn't kill them," DeMarkus yelled to no one is particular. "Little inferior shits. No insight as to where their place is in this clan. Atleast that last one knew her place. Right at the bottom of the pit, where inferior underlings like her belong." DeMarkus's rage was beyond hell, the adreneline running through his viens, filling his heart with hate.

Now realizing he had been ignoring Leena during his entire fit of rage towards the women who had interupted, he noted her most recent words. "Food...that sounds lovely, Leena. I could use it, after todays affairs in Barton. I really should take you next time, you'll love it. And we might even be able to relinquish some roaming clanners in the process." Going up to Leena and stroking his long fingers through Leena's lush hair, he asked her, "What would you like, Leena?" Reaching out towards a large stony button on his wall, immediately after it was pressed ten servants appeared, ready to serve them.
